Actually, it has some great places for people who like hunting/fishing. Not a lot of natural features (or man made for that matter), but people who move here do so because it isn't crowded, everything's well spread out.

Born and raised in Nebraska. Love it here, and I'll never leave. Couldn't pay me enough to leave. This state has a lot more to offer than a lot of states I've been in. People are just too closed minded and don't want to know. They think "Nebraska" and think it's nothing but corn and hicks. That's not the case at all...

I hate Nebraska, I'm stuck here for another year. I've wasted over half my life here, people are stuck up and ignorant. Absolutely nothing to do.
If you try to spark a conversation about how terrible this state is with any Nebraskan it won't be pretty. Let em be, there's a reason why Nebraska is far away from everything.

Guess we should all move away and stop using some of the most fertile land in the world above one of the world's largest aquifers to grow food for everyone. Where do you think you get a lot of your food from - Grocery Store Fairly Land? It comes from crops and livestock grown/raised on farms like all those in Nebraska. Sure, it's boring to drive on 80 through the state, but Texas is much worse. Some of us love it here, but we don't expect everyone else to.

Well said friend. I waited my whole life to leave Nebraska but now I miss the place. Not EVERYONE agrees on who has the best state and I don't know why people always have to degrade and put down people from a small (well in population terms) farming state such as NE. It's unjust and unfair. It is a great state to raise a family and most of the people are very friendly. Remember that NE is where the term "farmer's wave" was coined. Love you NE! GO BIG RED!

Actually, it has some great places for people who like hunting/fishing. Not a lot of natural features (or man made for that matter), but people who move here do so because it isn't crowded, everything's well spread out.
