Funny stuff guys, but sad when you think about it. I think I've just witnessed the end of the American Dream... seriously. Isn't one of the philosophies of the United States, "Give me freedom or give me death."? Public figures stating that national security is more important than human rights and ridiculing someone who is standing up for the philosophy of upholding the freedoms entrenched in the Constitution. A sad day indeed.
america, let's go for it...a president who scares us...just more of what this current president does. you know america is weak, the rest of the world is stronger than us, and we will be defeated by a bunch of arabs hiding in the hills.
You do realize that Red State Update is humor and Jackie & Dunlap are purely characters and that they aren't supporting the things you're freaking out about? Oh, and it's nice to here what a wonderfully tolerant person you are!
LOL! Yeah, I've been watching them for a long time! Some of the very best stuff on Youtube! Also, they live about a dozen miles from where my grandpa is from!
Also he says "broils" for Jackie. That could be excused except for the fact that they say the name at the beginning of every one of their vids! So, I'm imagining Sanchez hasn't bothered to really watch their stuff!!! He probably has an intern to do that!
Yeah I caught that to, maybe the CNN guy was just dense. For those of you who didn't get it, it was an allusion to her being able to handle getting "flamed" by others. Jackie and Dunlap both got it but didn't find it funny at all. You guys rock, tear CNN a new one...
It is pathetic when stiff media cronies try to play the humor card! I got the feeling he was trying to show that he can chum around with ignorant peons of lower class America! I'm sure he could never comprehend that Travis & Jonathan are far more intelligent than he is!!!
I like how you defended Haliburton -- the single greatest corporation in the world, and shining beacon of American liberty, democracy, justice and capitalism. Every knee shall bend to Hail Haliburton!
Um, you realize that Travis and Jonathan (the really aren't Jackie and Dunlap) are doing humor here and playing roles? Haliburton came up because Richardson painted himself into a corner & needed to pull something out of the blue to keep the audience on his side. If the question was about Iraq or corrupt companies, sure, bring it up, but the question was about whether human rights or our security come first.
Sure it is! And Travis & Jonathan believe it is too, but this Red State update isn't to promote their own political views, but to have a lot of fun, making fun of each & every candidate, on both sides!
As for Richardson, he realized that when you're running for president & you put U.S. security second, that's a mistake to say it. The president of the U.S. swears to defend our country.
He could have said, I put security of the U.S. first, but I would do so in a way that never violates human rights. That could be exactly what he thinks but the words that came out would stand against him in a general election- not because most Americans don't care about human rights, but they want to know that a president puts our security at the top of his list.
I'm well aware this channel is about fun. However, within the realistic realm of today's vicious American politics, everyone viewing these videos look for tidbits that in some way reassure their own positions, and dislike those which don't. To deny this would be dishonest. But yet it's also this primary factor that lends itself to the raw comedic nature that T&J tap into.
2) I initially posted my own tongue-in-cheek comment on Haliburton, of which I only would've been very surprised if someone did not swallow the bait. And you did so because you hold to a certain political viewpoint of your own concerning Richardson (if not the Dems as a whole), and not because you only wanted to "have fun".
And as you've chosen to be politically serious in opposing Richardson's statement, I'll add my opinion as to why I think he was [vaguely] correct.
3) Human rights is a major component of liberty. And so, without the guarantee of full human rights, a nation cannot genuinely claim itself to be a defender of liberty. Now, any two-bit nation can say they place security above all other concerns. I don't doubt they probably all do. But are they all worth fighting and dying for? I don't think each of them are. If the US is to be worth defending, fighting for, and/or sacrificing one's life in protecting,...
4) doesn't it stand that it should FIRST demonstrate it's full and unambiguous support of those most important principles it was founded upon? I happen to think so. Therefore, it could be argued that for a nation which does not extend full individual liberties to all its people, there will be a lesser desire among the people to defend it -- and IMO, a legitimately lesser reason/need to do so.
5) Liberty & human rights must be/remain our primary national goal in order to separate ourselves from the rest of the world's nations in standing tallest, as well as giving us good cause to seek the best security possible.
Richardson finds himself, in placing liberty at the top of priorities of our constitutional Republic, to be in good company with many noble men who came before:
As I've stated above, you are so ready to lash out at anyone you percieve to not be a political clone of yourself that you just assume I or others are against these things??? Very arrogant & closed minded of you!!!
I said a president should put the national security first, but can do so while also standing for human rights. But again you are so partisan that you can only lash out at anyone that doesn't blindly follow you.
Hmm, I think this statement just shows your own partisanship. I didn't say anything about what Richardson said being wrong- I just said that his wording would hurt him in the general election & I pointed out how he could have said what he feels without making it a political burden. But you're just looking to attack people you feel don't share 100% of your views.
I "lashed out" at you?!? LOL... You really need to get over your persecution complex. Do you perceive every reasonable challenge to your views as a vicious attack? In simply offering my contrasting opinion to yours, I've neither demonstrated "closed mindedness" nor a desire to limit "free speech". So cut the drama.
Regardless of your later claim to the contrary, you did opine that Richardson was wrong in saying what he said.
2) And to correct his error, you added that he should have said: "I put security of the U.S. first, but I would do so in a way that never violates human rights." You also asserted, out of nowhere, to know that he realized what he said was a mistake, and then offered us your version of "what he feels".
I suggest Richardson never thought that what he said was a mistake. Do you have a habit of pretending to know the mind of others and what they feel, regardless of what they actually say?
3) You assert: "I said a president should put the national security first, but can do so while also standing for human rights." And I merely disagreed with you in my previous, albeit somewhat lengthy comment, that for the America in which I grew up and believe in, and in order that we remain the shining beacon of freedom for the rest of world,...
4) ...human rights and individual liberties should/must be at the top of national priorities (and expressed thusly by the president) -- and we can do so while also providing a strong national defense. Richardson was absolutely correct in principle, though he could've phrased it better.
And I say that by making a statement that makes it sound like he puts our national defense second, the Republicans will have a great sound bite to use against him. When running for president, every word you utter has great significance and can come back to bite you- even if it's taken out of context.
I'll grant you that the Reps seem to have written the book on how to convince people that someone said something when they did not, just by screwing with context. But the question is whether the American people are becoming smarter and finally wising up to these tactics. I think the time for speaking in favor of our principle of human rights and restoring our liberties over the fear mongering against some bogeyman is long overdue, and would be enthusiastically embraced by the people.
Sure, I can't read his mind, but his facial expression, body language & going off on Haliburton, which had nothing to do with the question, led me to believe that he didn't like the direction he had gone with his words.
Heh, well that's certainly quite a talent you have there to be able to so accurately interpret the facial expressions and body language of a candidate for President of the US to know he's not saying what he actually means or feels. Now if you could only use that to convince the majority of the other 300+ million voters...
LOL! So, you don't use a person's facial expressions and body language to help interpret what they are saying? And how many times do we hear from candidates that what they said is not what they meant, when they get in hot water?
Your challenge wasn't reasonable as you assume I'm against Richardson, when I only say that his wording of the answer was poor- as a president is required to swear that he will defend the U.S.- not the human rights of the world. He could have said he would defend the U.S. while protecting human rights & that would have been perfect.
Now you're treading on multiple straw men here. First off, my challenge was not based on a presumption of your opinion of Richardson as a person/candidate (only suggested a likelihood that you got into the fray here because of it), but rather my [very reasonable] challenge was directed at your opinion of what he said. I think this should have been clear.
And I never said the president must defend human rights "of the world". Just stop that!
Also, your entire position is faulty because the president does not swear to defend the US in respect to national security as you seem to think, but rather it is to defend THE CONSTITUTION! That means, first and foremost, the guarantees of freedom, liberty, and equal justice it affords to its citizenry:
"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."
What is possible and what may not be possible is an entirely different issue, and one that has no bearing on the discussion at hand of the appropriateness of Richardson statement.
Perhaps you've not been able to comprehend my earlier argument in this regard. All nations consider defense against foreign adversaries as a given, but the [human] value of that which is being defended should, and must, always be of paramount importance lest it be swept aside.
I understand what you're saying but people are going to want to know that their president is going to actually defend them and their families. It's important that when campaigning that a candidate make it clear that they hold that as very important.
Well, this just lends itself to the widespread opinion that our leaders consider the American populace to be simpleminded and quite unintelligent, if not downright stupid. IMO, it may not be far from fact. Our education system as a whole is a national disgrace, and this has driven people to superstition and hopes in unrealistic fantasy. They now seemingly just want to have their hands held, be fed comforting words (albeit untruths), and have a "plain spoken" (idiot) preacher-in-chief in the WH.
My faith brings me comfort- I believe I'll see my loved ones again. I'll die believing that which is wonderful. If I'm wrong, the great thing is I'll never know I was wrong! I have friends who are on the left, right & in between, as well as those who are very or a little religious or not at all. I am able to respect all of them & don't feel the need to make any believe as I do.
And I'll die with the knowledge that the NATURAL universe is wonderful and awesome, and that my molecules will once again become one with the earth and available for re-use. I find beauty in realism.
And as long as you don't fly a plane into a skyscraper, kill a doctor providing women their constitutional right to choose abortion, hamper the great promise of stem cell research, teach my kids that [the fact of] evolution is a lie and that creationism is true, or any of a great number of other things being shoved upon society by the religious righteous fascists, I'd never attempt to take away your personally comforting beliefs. Otherwise, all bets are off the table.
LOL! Typical of those who hate those who believe in God. Yep, I know so many Christians who have flown planes into skyscrapers, killed abortion doctors-my atheist grandma tried to get my mom to abort me though, so I feel I can have a problem with you atheist baby killers!-& I believe in evolution as being part of God's creation, but to you religion is black & white & all wrong...
saying atheist grandma is like saying "non-astronaut grandma". Atheism doesn't mean you believe in abortion, or anything else - it means that you don't believe in a god. I don't hate christians, I think they are wrong, they think I'm wrong. However, Imagine if a president said that he didn't think christians should be considered citizens - it wouldn't fly. I find T and J hilarious - you might not find them so funny if looked into who they are outside of jackie broyles and dunlap.
I said atheist because it was my Christian grandma who pushed for me not to be aborted.
Yeah, it's horrible how atheists have been forcibly deported from the U.S.!
I've been watching their stuff for a long time, have gone to their outside website & know about who they really are-I chatted with them after learning that they live a dozen miles from where my grandpa & his family are from.
At what point did I ever say not to follow the constitution??? It's typical of haters to twist everything. All through this I was saying that Richardson could say defending the U.S. was his top priority but that he would do it while protecting human rights. I don't see what the problem with that is-and I don't see how you can come up with not following the Constitution out of that...
I got into the fray because I love Red State Update and the great stuff Travis and Jonathan do. They are constantly under attack by extremists like you, from both sides of the political spectrum, who only want humor directed against those that they don't agree with. Seeing your site where you obviously have a hatred for Christians, it shows you are pure partisan politics.
You are obviously fond of using the straw man fallacy. I did not "attack" T & J, and you've simply been dishonest as to why you got into the fray with me in particular. It's because I don't subscribe to your flavor of religious delusion, and because you so enjoyed attacking me in their Ron Paul video. I don't hate god believers -- I hate mind disorder of dangerous inculcated delusions. But it's good to know you're entirely above partisan politics. LOL!
Oh, I'm not at all above partisan politics- I just think that trying to accuse them of supporting Haliburton, when it's clearly a comedy video, shows that you are too wrapped up in your own partisanship. Also you site clearly shows that you have an arrogant view of those who are religious. It's clear you have an axe to grind with anyone who doesn't agree with you 100%.
And arrogance is the bedrock of the religious righteous hypocrite. I'm merely one of the "new atheists" who, having witnessed the tragic harm faith-based delusion is bringing (and has always wrought) to humankind, am now actively challenging the monster. In that religion has long been given a free pass in the US (along with NO taxes/accountability), it only seems to you that anyone now standing up to it is "arrogant".
As one of a small minority in the US, and the last minority against which it's still socially acceptable to discriminate against, I assure you it's quite the ordinary occurrence to have disagreement. I just wouldn't have enough axes to go around if I took them all seriously to heart. Just adding my best effort to wake my fellow Americans from their long slumber and introduce them to harsh reality, hard facts, and the love of reason.
LOL! I didn't realize you are a minority who is discriminated against! LOL! Poor you! I'm sure that when someone wishes you "Merry Christmas" it just rips away your civil rights! It's good though that you aren't full of stupidity, irrationality & intolerance like all how have religious belief, those evil, evil people!
The thing is, I don't care if you or anyone else believes or not- but I do care when people like you want to silence those who believe- it's all about power, people who are unhappy with themselves so they feel they must pull down others than go to the effort to build themselves up.
Yeah, the massive deaths of millions caused by atheist communists was really just a cover-The Communists were secretly Christians! War is caused by greed & the desire to rule over others. Religion is sometimes in the mix, when the countries involved happen to have religious beliefs in them- but it's all about dominating others.
Those who claim those who are religious have to be mentally deluded, that God can not exist, etc. I'd say that you claim in many ways to be the holder of absolute truth & those who disagree with you are purely wrong.
Sorry to point out the total contradictions in what you say.
"If by religion we are to understand sectarian dogmas, in which no two of them agree, then your exclamation on that hypothesis is just, that this would be the best of worlds if there were no religion in it."
-- Thomas Jefferson, in a reply to John Adams' letter
Atheists in fact do believe- they see themselves as little gods who, being wiser & more intelligent than we peons, have the duty to force the rest of us to live the way they themselves feel we should.
Ahteists are full of hate so your Lewis quote is an oxymoron!
Rick Sanchez sounds like such a fucking tool.

Public figures stating that national security is more important than human rights and ridiculing someone who is standing up for the philosophy of upholding the freedoms entrenched in the Constitution. A sad day indeed.

I like how you defended Haliburton -- the single greatest corporation in the world, and shining beacon of American liberty, democracy, justice and capitalism. Every knee shall bend to Hail Haliburton!
CrucieFiction 4 years ago
Um, you realize that Travis and Jonathan (the really aren't Jackie and Dunlap) are doing humor here and playing roles? Haliburton came up because Richardson painted himself into a corner & needed to pull something out of the blue to keep the audience on his side. If the question was about Iraq or corrupt companies, sure, bring it up, but the question was about whether human rights or our security come first.
RogCBrand 4 years ago
So then, I understand you to be saying Haliburton IS a corrupt company.
BTW, Richardson was far from "painting himself into a corner".
CrucieFiction 4 years ago
RogCBrand 4 years ago
He could have said, I put security of the U.S. first, but I would do so in a way that never violates human rights. That could be exactly what he thinks but the words that came out would stand against him in a general election- not because most Americans don't care about human rights, but they want to know that a president puts our security at the top of his list.
RogCBrand 4 years ago
I'm well aware this channel is about fun. However, within the realistic realm of today's vicious American politics, everyone viewing these videos look for tidbits that in some way reassure their own positions, and dislike those which don't. To deny this would be dishonest. But yet it's also this primary factor that lends itself to the raw comedic nature that T&J tap into.
CrucieFiction 4 years ago
2) I initially posted my own tongue-in-cheek comment on Haliburton, of which I only would've been very surprised if someone did not swallow the bait. And you did so because you hold to a certain political viewpoint of your own concerning Richardson (if not the Dems as a whole), and not because you only wanted to "have fun".
And as you've chosen to be politically serious in opposing Richardson's statement, I'll add my opinion as to why I think he was [vaguely] correct.
CrucieFiction 4 years ago
3) Human rights is a major component of liberty. And so, without the guarantee of full human rights, a nation cannot genuinely claim itself to be a defender of liberty. Now, any two-bit nation can say they place security above all other concerns. I don't doubt they probably all do. But are they all worth fighting and dying for? I don't think each of them are. If the US is to be worth defending, fighting for, and/or sacrificing one's life in protecting,...
CrucieFiction 4 years ago
4) doesn't it stand that it should FIRST demonstrate it's full and unambiguous support of those most important principles it was founded upon? I happen to think so. Therefore, it could be argued that for a nation which does not extend full individual liberties to all its people, there will be a lesser desire among the people to defend it -- and IMO, a legitimately lesser reason/need to do so.
CrucieFiction 4 years ago
5) Liberty & human rights must be/remain our primary national goal in order to separate ourselves from the rest of the world's nations in standing tallest, as well as giving us good cause to seek the best security possible.
Richardson finds himself, in placing liberty at the top of priorities of our constitutional Republic, to be in good company with many noble men who came before:
CrucieFiction 4 years ago
6) "Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."~ Benjamin Franklin
"I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death."~ Patrick Henry
"However weak our country may be, I hope we shall never sacrifice our liberties."~ Alexander Hamilton

As I've stated above, you are so ready to lash out at anyone you percieve to not be a political clone of yourself that you just assume I or others are against these things??? Very arrogant & closed minded of you!!!
RogCBrand 4 years ago
I said a president should put the national security first, but can do so while also standing for human rights. But again you are so partisan that you can only lash out at anyone that doesn't blindly follow you.
RogCBrand 4 years ago
Hmm, I think this statement just shows your own partisanship. I didn't say anything about what Richardson said being wrong- I just said that his wording would hurt him in the general election & I pointed out how he could have said what he feels without making it a political burden. But you're just looking to attack people you feel don't share 100% of your views.
RogCBrand 4 years ago
"everyone viewing these videos look for tidbits that in some way reassure their own positions"
Ah,well hopefully whoever gets into office can appoint you political correctness tzar to make sure only approved speech is free!
RogCBrand 4 years ago
I "lashed out" at you?!? LOL... You really need to get over your persecution complex. Do you perceive every reasonable challenge to your views as a vicious attack? In simply offering my contrasting opinion to yours, I've neither demonstrated "closed mindedness" nor a desire to limit "free speech". So cut the drama.
Regardless of your later claim to the contrary, you did opine that Richardson was wrong in saying what he said.
CrucieFiction 4 years ago
2) And to correct his error, you added that he should have said: "I put security of the U.S. first, but I would do so in a way that never violates human rights." You also asserted, out of nowhere, to know that he realized what he said was a mistake, and then offered us your version of "what he feels".
I suggest Richardson never thought that what he said was a mistake. Do you have a habit of pretending to know the mind of others and what they feel, regardless of what they actually say?
CrucieFiction 4 years ago
3) You assert: "I said a president should put the national security first, but can do so while also standing for human rights." And I merely disagreed with you in my previous, albeit somewhat lengthy comment, that for the America in which I grew up and believe in, and in order that we remain the shining beacon of freedom for the rest of world,...
CrucieFiction 4 years ago
4) ...human rights and individual liberties should/must be at the top of national priorities (and expressed thusly by the president) -- and we can do so while also providing a strong national defense. Richardson was absolutely correct in principle, though he could've phrased it better.
CrucieFiction 4 years ago
And I say that by making a statement that makes it sound like he puts our national defense second, the Republicans will have a great sound bite to use against him. When running for president, every word you utter has great significance and can come back to bite you- even if it's taken out of context.
RogCBrand 4 years ago
I'll grant you that the Reps seem to have written the book on how to convince people that someone said something when they did not, just by screwing with context. But the question is whether the American people are becoming smarter and finally wising up to these tactics. I think the time for speaking in favor of our principle of human rights and restoring our liberties over the fear mongering against some bogeyman is long overdue, and would be enthusiastically embraced by the people.
CrucieFiction 4 years ago
Sure, I can't read his mind, but his facial expression, body language & going off on Haliburton, which had nothing to do with the question, led me to believe that he didn't like the direction he had gone with his words.
RogCBrand 4 years ago
Heh, well that's certainly quite a talent you have there to be able to so accurately interpret the facial expressions and body language of a candidate for President of the US to know he's not saying what he actually means or feels. Now if you could only use that to convince the majority of the other 300+ million voters...
CrucieFiction 4 years ago
LOL! So, you don't use a person's facial expressions and body language to help interpret what they are saying? And how many times do we hear from candidates that what they said is not what they meant, when they get in hot water?
RogCBrand 4 years ago
To read a person's facial expressions and body language is a subjective exercise that could be interpreted very differently by different observers.
Only a fool would wager on such a flimsy determination.
CrucieFiction 4 years ago
Your challenge wasn't reasonable as you assume I'm against Richardson, when I only say that his wording of the answer was poor- as a president is required to swear that he will defend the U.S.- not the human rights of the world. He could have said he would defend the U.S. while protecting human rights & that would have been perfect.
RogCBrand 4 years ago
Now you're treading on multiple straw men here. First off, my challenge was not based on a presumption of your opinion of Richardson as a person/candidate (only suggested a likelihood that you got into the fray here because of it), but rather my [very reasonable] challenge was directed at your opinion of what he said. I think this should have been clear.
And I never said the president must defend human rights "of the world". Just stop that!
CrucieFiction 4 years ago
Also, your entire position is faulty because the president does not swear to defend the US in respect to national security as you seem to think, but rather it is to defend THE CONSTITUTION! That means, first and foremost, the guarantees of freedom, liberty, and equal justice it affords to its citizenry:
CrucieFiction 4 years ago
"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."
CrucieFiction 4 years ago
So, you don't believe it is possible to place defending our nation at the top of the list and be able to do so, while protecting human rights?
RogCBrand 4 years ago
What is possible and what may not be possible is an entirely different issue, and one that has no bearing on the discussion at hand of the appropriateness of Richardson statement.
CrucieFiction 4 years ago
It's kind of hard to defend the Constitution of the United States if you don't defend the nation itself!!!
RogCBrand 4 years ago
Perhaps you've not been able to comprehend my earlier argument in this regard. All nations consider defense against foreign adversaries as a given, but the [human] value of that which is being defended should, and must, always be of paramount importance lest it be swept aside.
CrucieFiction 4 years ago
I understand what you're saying but people are going to want to know that their president is going to actually defend them and their families. It's important that when campaigning that a candidate make it clear that they hold that as very important.
RogCBrand 4 years ago
Well, this just lends itself to the widespread opinion that our leaders consider the American populace to be simpleminded and quite unintelligent, if not downright stupid. IMO, it may not be far from fact. Our education system as a whole is a national disgrace, and this has driven people to superstition and hopes in unrealistic fantasy. They now seemingly just want to have their hands held, be fed comforting words (albeit untruths), and have a "plain spoken" (idiot) preacher-in-chief in the WH.
CrucieFiction 4 years ago
My faith brings me comfort- I believe I'll see my loved ones again. I'll die believing that which is wonderful. If I'm wrong, the great thing is I'll never know I was wrong! saying atheist grandma is like saying "non-astronaut grandma". Atheism doesn't mean you believe in abortion, or anything else - it means that you don't believe in a god. I don't hate christians, I think they are wrong, they think I'm wrong. However, Imagine if a president said that he didn't think christians should be considered citizens - it wouldn't fly. RogCBrand 4 years ago
if you ignore/don't follow the constitution, its no longer the United States that you are defending.
driubi 4 years ago
At what point did I ever say not to follow the constitution??? It's typical of haters to twist everything. All through this I was saying that Richardson could say defending the U.S. was his top priority but that he would do it while protecting human rights. I don't see what the problem with that is-and I don't see how you can come up with not following the Constitution out of that...
RogCBrand 4 years ago
I got into the fray because I love Red State Update and the great stuff Travis and Jonathan do. They are constantly under attack by extremists like you, from both sides of the political spectrum, who only want humor directed against those that they don't agree with. Seeing your site where you obviously have a hatred for Christians, it shows you are pure partisan politics.
RogCBrand 4 years ago
You are obviously fond of using the straw man fallacy. I did not "attack" T & J, and you've simply been dishonest as to why you got into the fray with me in particular. It's because I don't subscribe to your flavor of religious delusion, and because you so enjoyed attacking me in their Ron Paul video. I don't hate god believers -- I hate mind disorder of dangerous inculcated delusions. But it's good to know you're entirely above partisan politics. LOL!
CrucieFiction 4 years ago
Oh, I'm not at all above partisan politics- I just think that trying to accuse them of supporting Haliburton, when it's clearly a comedy video, shows that you are too wrapped up in your own partisanship. Also you site clearly shows that you have an arrogant view of those who are religious. It's clear you have an axe to grind with anyone who doesn't agree with you 100%.
RogCBrand 4 years ago
I said my original comment on Haliburton was tongue-in-cheek, and I think was obvious (at least to most).
CrucieFiction 4 years ago
And arrogance is the bedrock of the religious righteous hypocrite. I'm merely one of the "new atheists" who, having witnessed the tragic harm faith-based delusion is bringing (and has always wrought) to humankind, am now actively challenging the monster. In that religion has long been given a free pass in the US (along with NO taxes/accountability), it only seems to you that anyone now standing up to it is "arrogant".
CrucieFiction 4 years ago
As one of a small minority in the US, and the last minority against which it's still socially acceptable to discriminate against, I assure you it's quite the ordinary occurrence to have disagreement. I just wouldn't have enough axes to go around if I took them all seriously to heart. Just adding my best effort to wake my fellow Americans from their long slumber and introduce them to harsh reality, hard facts, and the love of reason.
