  • Teach the lick at the end and at the beginning. alot of people wanna learn it so thumbs up.

  • i wanna learn the intro what song is that

  • "Whenever you see a guitar." xDD

  • hey, a lital tip, it may help if you tell us what fret you are playing the string on, I know you have the cam zoomed in and that but I still can't tell...

  • I hope that guitar was over 18 ._.

  • Hey Neal, Every time I watch a video I instantly go to the site to check the tabs, but I just can't find any !!

I always end up searching for them, which gives me no results at all.

  • I like this guy's lessons! I've learned a few things. Would luv to hear more stuff.

  • This shit sounds bawse.

  • 0:01 - 0:08

    what skill it is?

  • HOWLY SHIYAT THAT INTRO WAS EPIC

  • Barney Stinson :-)

  • Barney Stinson? O,O

  • Im mainly a blues player but i like to keep myself well rounded... i can't use a pick but i can usually play blues solos faster then most people sweep... I wanna add sweeping to my arsenal but i can't find anywhere that teaches how to do it without a pick.. itd be dump to learn it with a pick though cause i do everything else without one. but i MAINLY need help with the left hand technique... any suggestions?

  • @TheDilligan learn to pick :)

  • @jcmoovee that doesn't help... i can do sweeps, the main problem is my left hand

  • I didnt know paul bettany plays so good haha

  • huh. this guy kinda looks like a methhead or summat.

  • You guys know that fast hands can´t play the jazz? 8)

  • Legen.... wait for it... DARY!

  • hey is it easier to sweep with a fixed bridge or a floating trem? or is there no difference ?

  • @shant1k Hi! I don't notice much of a difference there... but lower action makes it a bit easier. /Ben

  • Way better than expertvillage!

  • where's Neal???????

  • nice :)

  • This was a really nice lesson, Ben is a really good teacher too.

Since Neil usually gives us classes, we should give him a sweeping lesson :)

  • bear down and get a tie stinson

  • How do you do that intro!?!? I could never figure out how to make that cool reving engine sound.

  • @sabbathielmike

    1. Tune down the low E string (doesn't really matter how much)

    2. Turn on LOTS of gain

    3. Constantly pick the low E, A, (and maybe D) strings behind the nut while you tune up the low E string again

    /Ben

  • @BenLindholm AW SO COOL! YOU'RE THE MAN BEN! Thanks i really appreciate it!.

  • Barney?

  • WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!...

    WHERE IS YOUR SUIT?!

  • you guys rock for giving free tips, but they are always pretty advanced stuff

  • hey next lesson show us how to do that thing at the start! it was awesome!:D

  • Neal you guys should mention that your main website has a tab on almost each lick-lesson from the Guitartricks Channel. This makes it a lot more easier! I'm sure you will get a lot more subscribtions with it, because I always have the feeling most people don't know that there also is an entire excellent website, because it is called Guitartricks, people may think it is only a bunch of tricks only on Youtube. Please reply ! :-)

  • @NewMetallica You are right, the website is very helpful this way and thanks for bringing it up. I think you covered better than I ! :) -Neal

  • Great lesson ! ! :)

  • he's not as cool as neil

  • toccata and fugue......?

  • nice intro, like muse

  • Great lesson. Itd be awesome if you could teach that tapping lick at 0:18

  • @stalebread31 really is easy, but try to do it with ears, its much better, if you are bad the ears like me, you can watch the "A diminished arpeggio" in tapping

    ex A C D# index - ring or pinky - tap D# F# A

its all, just is practice, practice, practice until your fingers are bleeding, or become accustomed to mechanical movement

  • @stalebread31 all the tabs are on the main site, but as bogik said, it's basically a diminished arpeggio. they are symmetric, meaning you create one by moving up three frets at a time - that's it. then you just place some of the notes on the next string and tap the top note etc.

  • not bad

  • That was cool. Ben, great job. Love your technique. Thanks!

  • @DimeForeverTexas No, thank YOU for watching! /Ben

  • Tiny resemblance to Niel Patrick Harris, not much xD

  • OH MY GOD, DID YOU SEE THAT... UNICORN?!
