  • who is the female commentator? she is so fucking bad

  • Ok people, learn English! There are no such words as "learnt" or "aggressivity" in the English language. Quite sad.

  • Sam is just adorable...........;-x)

  • I think Sam's forehand is one of my favourite shots in the women's game.

  • in this match, justine was so passive.

  • Stosur is a hottie. What a body! Henin is a child next to her. I hope that Stosur now also continues to gain more poise and mental strength. She is capable of it, as she splendidly demonstrated in the US Open 2011. Also, she is such a nice girl, she is sweet and probably lacks a bit of aggressivity. I hope she improves in that area too (while remaining sweet :-)).

  • The thing is, Justine could have easily won RG 2010 if she had just implemented her all court game. Her all court game is a combination of slices which move through the court, top spin and then flat forehands and her excellent net skills. Instead she was content on ball bashing and most of her shots just landed a bit too short anyway allowing Stosur to easily set up her forehand.

  • @KadeKempson Justine was having a hard time getting her foot through the door on Sam's serve so she couldn't really play that all court game. Stosur's forehand was on after the first set that day so it was hard for Justine to get her slice to really cut through the court and stay low. She tried the variety and Sam absolutely shut her down. The highlights shows only the winners, but really a lot of it was Henin not coping with Sam's power and spin. If she played anyone else, Henin would've won.

  • @Licitate I do agree with you. Although I am a big henin fan, henin couldn't do a lot to counter stosur's wicked topspin in this match.

  • stosur learnt from the previous loss against henin. she was hitting so clean in this match. In my opinion both played a really good match because it was a 3 setter match. One was coping with power and other one was player with power.

  • This manly lesbian on steroids is impressive. Too bad she got nervous in the final vs this Milano chick.

  • I think that Stosur has the game but NOT the mind of champion. I think Samantha is just too nice. She always praises her opponents but doesn't hype up her own abilities. Francesca wanted it more she knew that winning the French Open was a big opportunity. I think Samantha can win a slam but she's got to play the finals better. I looked at Samantha's record in WTA finals is not that good. She's only won 2 titles. I am suprised Samantha has only won 2 WTA events in her career.

  • @JordanjamesX thats coz shes a double player,its diferent

  • Bye JustLyin, enjoy watching the tennis at home from your couch you cheater. Oh and enjoy the Williams sisters take over again when they're back and fully fit.

  • @TheFever77 when would that be?????????

  • I was disappointed that Samantha Stosur choked the French Open final against Schiavone. Now Stosur's choke wasn't huge but it was a choke she just seemed so tight and uncertain on the court. Stosur's chance was the 4-1 lead in the second set she should have won that set and forced a third. However, Schiavone played the match of her life. I give Francesca credit she wanted it more than Samantha and that's why she is the French Open champion and Samantha is not.

  • @JordanjamesX I believe Stosur got cocky and thought she was gunna beat her easily because of there previous matches.....And yes Schiavone played awesome but i would say stosur has a better chance of defending her points at Roland Garros.

  • @nottys92 hahaha and now what you say??????????/

  • @daniela4u1 That was my opinion based on what ive seen of both of them and i was wrong..... So yeah whatever

  • justine always sounds like she is having sex when she is playing

  • Thank you saMANtha for taking out that cheat.

  • so much topspin out of that babolat rocket launcher O.o

  • Whatever the outcome of his match, Henin is still the Queen of Clay.

  • In watching this again, I still find it hard to believe that Stosur didn't bring this same game to the final. I, like a lot of people, thought the she was going to smoke Schiavone in the final, kinda like she did Jankovic in the semis. But I guess that's what happens when you allow your nerves to get the best of you; you get all stiff and your game doesn't flow well. As a side note, I can understand Henin's frustration b/c she isn't used to getting handled at the FO and she had chances in 3rd.

  • Stosur found Henin's weakness...use one of those Babolat rocket launchers and make her hit the ball from up above her head!

  • i thought stour saved mp... i didnt rmb this score i thought. ...

  • 2:21 was an awful scream

  • What a kick serve there from Stosur at 2:21.I had Justine on her butt lol

  • @milot1masha I would say that Sam's serve is third best on the tour after Serena then Venus. Her 2nd serve (kick) is second only to Serena's, and that's high praise!

  • @TheFever77 I would even say that Sam's serve is better than Venus' now. Venus' second serve quite honestly sucks and she doesn't get enough first serves in to make up for it.

  • @TheViewerGeneric Someone needs to upload the match they played in Madrid last year where Venus out-served Stosur

  • @TheViewerGeneric AGREED!!!!!!!!!!

  • Stosur's game is so straight forward im actually surprised by her....this year has been incredible for her and i wish her the best of luck in the future.!

  • Stosur is just hitting the ball too hard for Henin...the forehand was just straight fire the whole match. Good match..if Henin don't watch out Stosur will be the next queen of clay..if he can manage to not loose to players like schiavone lol.....(she needs her but kicked for loosing that match man lol)

  • best spin match ever.. i love stosur cuz she beat henin... finally

  • I don't understand HOW could Stosur not win all the event! Ugh! Anyway, in this match Henin realised that "weak" field of WTA is not that weak after all...

  • @camaranina : Agreed!

  • Comment removed

  • I think Sam's forehand is much stronger than L.Davenport ~~~ Powerfel and fast!!!!

  • Although Stosur was playing out of her mind , Henin's game plan was just simply not smart. The idiot just kept hitting it to the Stosur forehand, or allowing her enough time to run around the forehand. And she paid the price.

  • I would kill to have Sam's kick serve and topspin forehand. Finally a female player who knows how to really put some action on the ball.

  • where the hell is stosur/serena highlights? there should be videos for that one, it was, in my opinion, better watching than this, but this is good also

  • sam's smash @ 4:51 sounds like a shot gun

  • Samatha´s game was just cleannnnnnnnn

  • I wonder if Henin took too much time off from the tour.

  • Great match from samantha. She has improved her game soo much. She doesn't have serena's shotmaking habilities neither justines variety but she has managed to build her game on her forehand and serve. This match reminds me of what happened in the men's tour between Coria and Nadal. Stosur clearly being Nadal.

  • @gonarg90 disagree with the part about her shotmaking abilities compared to serena, they are on a par if stosur is playing really well, has always had the game to be a bigtime player in the womens game, its the confidence and consistency which has now got her to the level of GS contender and top player.

  • @raff23 Stosur is good, but she clearly does not have Serena's level of shotmaking abilities. That's what Serena's game has been built around from the beginning and what has made Serena a threat on all surfaces. Stosur needs slower surfaces to give her enough time to set up her good shots, which is why she hasn't been as dangerous at the faster Grand Slam tournaments.

  • Stosur should have won that final but let the pressure get to her, not to mention that Schiavone played fearless tennis. But she probably will win the French next year. She plays a lot like Nadal does on clay with the kick serve, and the slice backhands to set up her forehand.

  • I think Henin has supermovements. One of my favorite players.

  • henin is a cheating bitch :/ i love sam stosur!

  • fuck..stosur is a machine..in this match..

  • my two favorite players!

  • Im glad Henin lost. She's such a bitch! And a cheater!

  • This final reminds me of how Justine was overpowered in 2008, and somewhat showed why she retired in the first place. It's almost like Hingis, although they were still on top of their game, it's like they knew they wouldn't win another slam. In Hingis' case it was true, she reached the Aussie open finals since '97 to '02, and was still a top 5 player, but she retired. Justine just had a small slump in the beginning of '08 and decided to call it quits....

  • it's ok Henin I would have been embarrassed too. You don't have to slam your racket down.

  • @EastEnd This isn't the Henin from 2007 , it will take some time to reach her old level. just u watch her in 2011...

  • Stosur is a very talented player but she lacks the mental toughness in the finals. Stosur has a losing record in finals for a reason she tends to crumble under the pressure. Stosur's loss to Schiavone in the French Open finals was surprising because she was the favourite to win! Stosur has to prove she can win a major before I can say she is a real contender.

  • Did you see how fast henin got to the net at 1:14 after that forehand return?! Wow!

Stosur played some big forehands this match. Ridiculous. Henin couldn't handle the power and spin and accuracy 3 in 1

  • Stosur has a very whippy forehand

  • Stosur's a powerhouse.

  • this is women's nadal!

  • @tennisboy2612 she's more powerful than nadal and I'm not joking

  • henin;s new game is like big babe in a tiny body..not a good combo,.. she now grunts a lot and throws her racket :(

  • thanks for this highlight video! i like both players. well done samantha!

  • Perfect game from Stosur to take out Henin. Topspin forehands, high-kick serve to the backhand, slice to set up the forehand and volleys. I still wonder why she didn't play like this in the final.

  • @skribblex yeah it's a mystery to me how Serena didn't beat Sam to start with, but then how Sam wasn't able to beat Schiavone in the final. trust me this French Open will be the ONLY slam Schiavone ever wins, she got very lucky indeed.

  • @skribblex to many nerves and she choked just how serena did against sam
