@nunderhill814 he has stated before that he doesn't aim when he shoots. He just let's it go. He says once you start aiming is when you start missing lol. People have to understand that this is all these guys do. He knows every shot from every inch of the court by muscle memory. He doesn't even have to think about it.

@ramasart10 I can only go off of what he says. I'm not in his face watching his eyes during games... but this is what he told me:

“When I’m making a move, I’ve shot enough shots, I know where the hoop is,” Allen said. “I’m just really working on my legs, trying to get lift. I come off of a screen, I know where the hoop is based on the floor. By the time I’m turned around, I just let the ball go. I don’t even see the rim.”

I've asked him about that. He says he doesn't look at the rim when he shoots.

Guy is in ridiculous shape. He looks like he's 23 still. That's why he's the best shooter in the league, quite possible of all time. Practice and hard work, not many people can match Allen.

I've got to say Ray Allen's video on the basics of shooting helps me a lot, square up jump release, all perfect
