As I said above, my children will grow up with the knowledge of who is their biological father. They will be raised by Momma and Baba, but their biological father will always be called Dad and he will always be honored on father's day for the contribution he made to our family. Me, my heterosexual brother, and my heterosexual sister were all raised without a father. And we are all bright, successful and fully functioning adults. Fathers are wonderful. But parents don't require a specific gender.

The APA, has agreed that children need a loving home, with two parents/ parental figures. Whether one needs to male and the other female, is NOT necessary. As long as the home is stable, and yes, a gay home can be stable- then children can have the possibility of a GOOD childhood.

Gender role is important, men and women are not the same- the man is the head whereas the woman is the heart. When you go to a nursery or playgroup you always find women, not men, as more responsible to young children.
