I like how the guy has his Xbox "raised" of the playing surface by about 3 and a half inches; I do the same thing with my Xbox plus aim a 12' tabletop fan at it, And I can play Oblivion for hours. Remember, not only does heat gather on top of the Xbox 360, but the bottom as well! If you leave it flat(not raised) the "bottom heat" will do the damage sooner or later.

Not bad. I put 2 fans on the side of my 360 but took the fan out the square casing to make it fit nicer. Provides a nice intake and can feel cold air exhausting out the back of the console without the exhaust fans being powered up. I would say though, you've gone slightly overkill =\ Wouldn't suprise me if the rear fans you have added conflict with the internal rear fans. You mayaswell stick it in a freezer.

I kept my ps3 running for about 3 days and it never overheated in fact it didn't even heat at all!!! With out any crap on it.  In a closed area and quit hot too

you can use a 12 volt ACDC power adapter to power those fans. try to check youtube for the connections.

This is overly dramatic. A big fan blowing on it, another fan on the bottom, another fan on the back. If you keep it well ventilated and a little box fan blowing on it and the power supply it will do just fine.

Hi, I've just done the X clamp fix to my 360 it's the normal model not elite, I believe it's the falcon as it's got the extra mini heat sink and smaller X clamps. Now it's back working again. I'm looking to upgrade the fan system to keep it cool for prolonged sessions, I've only just bought and fixed it, I'm used to the luxury of sufficient cooling on my PS3 lol. What power supply do these use? I was thinking of putting two in the right side (horizontal) and upgrading the internal ones. Thanks.

I did exactly what you did except I have the fan near the HDD as an exhaust fan instead of an intake fan. What do you think?

For my case i made it an "inflow" bec of my fan situated beside it. The small fan near HDD will provide somewhat an additional forced flow coming from the fan. Also, u can remove the side panel beneath ur Xbox or horizontal if u put it this way and directly put ur fans. Removing that panel will maximize the flow of ur fans. U can check youtube for dismantling procedures.
