Hence the name "Joint Strike Fighter", it is being jointly developed by multiple NATO nations for use across the world, some users being the UK, France, Israel, Australia, the USA, Italy, Turkey. Selling the F-22 was never the plan. And the Russian PAK FA is a better air superiority fighter than the F-35 anyway.

At that point the PAK has a massive advantage over the F-35 just due to agility. A SKILLED pilot in an F-35 could potentially take down a novice in a PAK, but not easily. The F-35 has agility on par with 4th gen aircraft, like the F-15 or F-16, and if it faces off against other 4th Gen, it'll easily win. But against a thrust-vectored 5th gen? Not likely.

Now Pakistan army was ready not only to defend but also to attack. Pakistan air force suffered India a lot. At that time america forced Pakistan to stop war on India. Pakistan army accepted it and left the area of India captured by Pakistan army. @Ad18891945 Would have been amusing had the PAF faced off against the other IAF, the Israeli one. PAF likely would have lost almost everything sent up, while the Israeli's would probably lose a handful at best.
As for India? Just give it a few years, India will be going 5th gen with the delivery of the PAK FA / T-50, the Russian equivalent of the American F-22 Raptor. Less stealthy, more agile. The PAF's few F-16s (Only plane worth a damn in their inventory) won't be much of a match for that.

Hence the name "Joint Strike Fighter", it is being jointly developed by multiple NATO nations for use across the world, some users being the UK, France, Israel, Australia, the USA, Italy, Turkey. @TheEddie8688 In a one on one situation, a PAK and F-35 will only engage each other at close, dogfight range due to their stealth ability. At that point the PAK has a massive advantage over the F-35 just due to agility. A SKILLED pilot in an F-35 could potentially take down a novice in a PAK, but not easily. The F-35 has agility on par with 4th gen aircraft, like the F-15 or F-16, and if it faces off against other 4th Gen, it'll easily win. But against a thrust-vectored 5th gen? Not likely.

Now Pakistan army was ready not only to defend but also to attack. Pakistan air force suffered India a lot. These losses also can't be regarded as loss of any country. But we may regard loser to one who requested america for cease fire. Yes it is only the option to tell actually who won the war of 1965. Infact at first Indian army attacked Pakistan army at night.

@Ad18891945 Would have been amusing had the PAF faced off against the other IAF, the Israeli one. PAF likely would have lost almost everything sent up, while the Israeli's would probably lose a handful at best.
As for India? Just give it a few years, India will be going 5th gen with the delivery of the PAK FA / T-50, the Russian equivalent of the American F-22 Raptor. Less stealthy, more agile. The PAF's few F-16s (Only plane worth a damn in their inventory) won't be much of a match for that.

Su30 MKI, LCA Tejas, Mig 29, Mirage 2000 are not some junkyard jets of Russia...
They are some of the most sophisticated planes of today...
Only MIG 21 and 27 are somewhat outdated...
Nevertheless, India has upgraded them as much as possible.
And LCA Tejas is developed by India to phase out MIG 21s...
And india is developing more and buying even more...

@bluesky747 India is Going to aquire another 126 + Medium combat aircraft with F-18 super hornet, F-16 block 70, Eurofighter, Rafael and MIg 35 being the top contenders.
While PAF has only 34 Dedicated 4th generation F-16 block 15/30 Aircraft ryt now. With 36 more F-16 Block 50 aircraft to be inducted in coming years. This indicates that PAF definately lacks the necessary firepower.

@gothwal100 But the key point here, what we are now and what we'll be. if u see it that way Pakistan seems to match so far equipment is related. we are manufacturing our own planes, fighter planes included, not one but many versions keeping in mind whats coming on newer aircraft and weapons platform. i speak with full responsibility when i say that Pakistan has unconventional aircraft and technology manufacturing capability shared only by US, France, UK, perhaps Israel and Russia.
