No thought for safety, just save the plane. Mad.------ Look your upset ,I get that, just because Robbie can land so well without ailerons must upset some / many of us whom can not land so well with every surface in our command. Watch the video over and over and the model harriers in with just elevator and rudder to play with, know one near runs for cover, come on, rather than beat him with a stick lets take our hat off to him. Well done Robbie...
as for a new flight testing, It does need to be checked at my local club again, but it is not required to go through the test program again, as it has not had a major failure in the air which would cause this model to be instantly revoked by the CAA.. It just a simple matter of a thicker walled phelonic tube
If i thought that i couldnt get in in safely, or the fact that i though i would have been putting other peoples lives in danger i most certainly would not have attempted to get it down as i did... The 25mph wind and with such a large wing, helped to get the aircraft safely on the deck.
@yintontiddlyipo tbh honest i think he did well to get it down have you ever tried to fly a plane with no ailerons ???? and no thought for safty he was almost dead straight on the strip he brought it down perfect at no point did the model look out of controll he had rudder and elevator controll and brought it in in a safe manner had it started to go toward the crowd im sure robbie would of put it in the floor he a very experienced show pilot and knows the rules

Loses the use of the ailerons in the afternoon and tries to land as close to the flight line as possible.
