Didn't tried, but don't think so. It's another type of explosive, rather than gas and molotov being same.

lol both being fire doesn't have anything to do with anything. pipebombs don't work because they disappear as soon as you throw it, where as the molotov has a 1 second delay from the time you throw it to the time it disappears from your inventory. this trick also works with propane tanks (and oxygen tanks as well I would imagine)

I am just glad it works. Anyway, molotov is better than a pipe in most cases.
