@ImInCommand Agree, although, in our economic disaster, Romney does have a comforting strength about him on that subject... but in the end... you're correct.
Looks like there are too many idiots in AZ that refuse to wake up and are going to shove McCain back in our faces for another 4 years. PRAYING HARD for a different outcome!!!
Club for Growth was paid $550,000 by Romney supporters to distort and smear Gov. Huckabee's record. THIS is why there is anomosity between Romney and Huckabee supporters. If Romney would have played fair, there would have been no discord!! Huckabee is the way to go in 2012!!!!
People can't simply vote for this guy just for his good feelness. Although I'm not slamming GWB (some of what he's done has been good), this guy will be a george bush on steroids with tons more spent on things we don't need. VOTE MCCAIN!
Huckabee is McCain's little puppy. I won't vote for either of them. Those two smile at each other and complement each other so much during the debates that they should star in a sequel to Brokeback Mountain.
They are incredibly different! Where do you come from? Canada? John McCain is not half as bad in fiscal spending, supports WORTHWILE CAUSES in foreign policy, has an effective economic policy (not a 100 percent isolationist freak) and has great experience and good backup. I'm not sure who you're going to vote for...but McCain's my man
Don't confuse me with one of the Ron Paul retards. I'm for Romney personally. Just watch those two in the debates. Huckabee in the fox debate was all like 'I've met McCain's mother' and stuff.
From Dick Morris's article 'Mike Huckabee is a Fiscal Conservative':
A recent column by Bob Novak excoriated Huckabee for a "47 percent increase in state tax burden." But during Huckabee's years in office, total state tax burden — all 50 states combined — rose by twice as much: 98 percent, increasing from $743 billion in 1993 to $1.47 trillion in 2005.
In Arkansas, the income tax when he took office was 1 percent for the poorest taxpayers and 7 percent for the richest, exactly where it stood when he left the statehouse 11 years later. But, in the interim, he doubled the standard deduction and the child care credit, repealed capital gains taxes for home sales, lowered the capital gains rate, expanded the homestead exemption and set up tax-free savings accounts for medical care and college tuition.
Most impressively, when he had to pass an income tax surcharge amid the drop in revenues after Sept. 11, 2001, he repealed it three years later when he didn't need it any longer.
He raised the sales tax one cent in 11 years and did that only after the courts ordered him to do so. (He also got voter approval for a one-eighth-of-one-cent hike for parks and recreation.)
So Huckabee goes on nationwide TV over and over again and lies through his teeth about a gas tax hike and yet one must go on You Tube to get the truth. What ever.
His parole was blocked by local politics and the State Police numerous times after he became eligible. A lot of people thought he deserved a second chance and I was one of them. His crimes after release are inexplicable.

I know he is soft on crime letting people that rape and murder women out of prison early and I know he loves to raise taxes but I still love his policy on undocument people and amnasty so he still has my vote Huckabee all the way
No, he's not soft on anything but violent crime. He wants to make smoking illegal, and releases murderers to make room to punish 'immoral' pot smokers for their choice of venue of pursuit of happiness. The pursuit of happiness is an INALIENABLE right. Rehab didn't work for me. Scuze me while I roll a fatty.
Maybe some drugs would help you. You obviously can not grasp my advanced statement. I even included murders as the ones getting out of jail to make room for "Non violent" pursuers of happiness.
If you knew anything, multi-account dude (not sure what to call you), you'd know that most crime in this country is drug related. Including your violent crime. Put down the doobie, brother and listen to the music.
Prohibition gave you capone and the mafia, controlled substances act gives you the crypts and the bloods, and the pharma's dicks up your butt because your meds are availabe 1/100 of the price in mexico.
LOL- more smears from the same newspaper that had one of its reporters file corruption charges against him which were frivilous!!!! Club for Growth, start making vidoes that make you money so that you can pay off all those FEC fines that you have!!!! lol
The fact that Huckabee supports the "fair" tax proves that he is not qualified to be President. He says "abolish the IRS" and gets big cheers. How does he make sure people are paying their sales taxes? There would have to be a new IRS that would be FAR worse than the current one. The new IRS would have to crack down on barter, etc.. the govt would be in your business 10 times more than it is now to make sure you aren't trading things outside of the oppressive tax system.
he's a social conservative but fiscally liberal. when it comes down to it, a president has a lot more to do with fiscal policy than social policy. it's hard to believe he's getting away with a "conservative" label, just because he talks about God. i like God, too, but i deal with that in my personal life. For a president, i want someone fix our budget and run things better.
This video is just about parsing Gov. Huckabee's words and nitpicking. This tax was specifically to improve the interstate highways which were in terrible shape. The legislature wanted it and the people wanted it, so Mike signed it. A related bond issue for further improvements was put to the people for a vote and passed with 80% support. A Governor who actually listens to the people, wow!
This is all about shameless self-promotion from the Club for Growth. Wall Street hates Huckabee because he would get rid of the tax system they wrote to benefit themselves. All those tax breaks they bought from Congress - gone when the income tax is replaced with the Fair Tax.
I'm not sure about the tax breaks being gone. What about certain industries' products being taxed or not? Would their be a sales tax on Pharmaceuticals? No, people need their drugs.
Bad year for Club 4 Growth. They lost the fifth district and about to lose Iowa and then the whole nation. Long live roads.
Do they realize without roads we would be vulnerable to terrorist. We need to be able to move our troops where they are need. Guess what Mike is not only stealing Ike's slogan he is just like Ike smart I like Mike

Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee has taken to calling himself a "fiscal conservative," but who ever heard of a fiscal conservative who raised taxes and spending through the roof while governor of Arkansas? Mike Huckabee is also calling himself "a different kind of Republican," but that's just a codeword for a big-government Republican who wants to cover up his tax-and-spend record with folksy talking points and one-liners. Sorry Tax Hike Mike. No dice. taxhikemike org

Also, on globalism; yes, there is definitely more integration among countries now, however, you can't have these "globalists" meeting in private outside of public scrutiny.
This deletes any transparency that the government should possess, as they can make decisions with other countries without the peoples' knowledge let alone consent.
There are no isolation tactics to getting out of Iraq. Militarily you can kill every single person in the country, but that doesn't mean that it's going to be any better than before.

There is nothing revolutionary about the philosophy of non-entangling alliances, we need a restoration; not a revolution.
