I only have the seventh book, and skimmed through the others in Books a Million, so I'm not sure how accurate it the movie is. But whether it is or isn't I will always love that flute. That is seriously the most hypnotic thing ever. It kind of makes me think of Lestat playing the violin on the beach in Queen of the Damned

I've read one of the books and the movie seems like a good tribute to the series. The characters look the same but it does leave out some things and it did ruin the Little People characters but it's still a fun movie with a great cast and I really enjoyed how it didn't try to be a great vampire movie. Twilight tried too hard and sucked. This movie is just there for fun.

@hosman1995 well of course the movie isn't like the books. That's what makes it so interesting. You can't always expect the same things as what was written or else it would be extremely boring. For example, Truska doesn't speak english until about the sixth or seventh book. She speaks enligsh in movie.
