Today is Genes birthday and I am watching all the wonderful tributes to Gene that have been uploaded since I first uploaded my own. The first youtubers' I found to upload any tributes to Gene where Mondbruder and Shanghibenny and thanks to them so did I,and now there are so many it is wonderful to see.
I love this video. It's different from many others in that it shows her with her children. She looked like a very proud and loving mother. I see her as a great beauty and great actress, but I also see a sadness in her eyes. I know she had a retarded child and some mental issues, I'm sure that didn't help.
my dad used to tell me all the time how gene tierney was his favorite actress and how beautiful she was...thank you for reminding me of some good times.
Genes' first husband is quoted as saying Gene was more beautiful in real life, a rare genetic masterpiece,even as old age approached Genes' beauty shone true,ahead of here time in so many ways

No offense to the late Marilyn Monroe, but I've always thought Gene was more beautiful, and have wondered why others
didn't see her that way also.
