H-AZ N3277 was captured by germans and they painted a swastika on the tail, its a sad sight :(

yes ... actually the caloundra air museum here in south east queensland has a restored spit in dark green and dark earth camo with a white tail , i'm going to get hold olf a 1/48th kit and finish it in the same markings .. i took a heap of pics for reference
