the title itself was always kind of redundant to me. it wasn't the world title and held in less esteem than the world title so it truly didn't seem to have any place. tv title, wth is that. that aside, arn gave it some legitimacy, at leas tto me. Without a doubt it has always been what i think of as the nicest looking wrestling title belt ever. It's just always appealed more to my sense of taste more than the others have.
@owofan19 You can view the price guide on Dave Millican's website. Some people like the red leather Arn Anderson version which costs more than the Steve Austin/Z-Man version.
Is this the real belt? You state that it was made in 1998. According to any source that I have found, the NWA no longer uses this title. Therefore, wouldn't this belt be circa 1992 before WCW made their own?
@PawNtheSandman : Stunning Steve Austin used a similer NWA TV title belt like the one is presented in this video when he was champion shortly before WCW took over the company!.just a heads up!.by the way, it's a shame that knowing the "history" of this shapely Belt was used in the WWF (Hogan) AWA tag (Road Warriors) & also WCCW (Ric Rude) the manufactures should make an inexpensive replica for anyone to purchase, but hasn't..i'm still waiting! =0\
@tornmask Yes, I am very aware of the history of the belt, and there should NEVER be a cheap replica of these belts or any of the belts. Figures Toy Company has done a huge disservice by making cheap copies of the classic NWA belts. I hope they never come out with any more classic belts. They should stick to making the current WWE belts, and that's it.
@PawNtheSandman : i truly respect ur opinion..but their are folks (& i place myself in that category) who would luv to have a "genuine classic" Championship Belt like ur's but only because of the cost, makes it impossible..don't get me wrong, i'm not trying to down grade the Belts into cheap ones but is only fair to a wrestling fan to have that option weather it be expensive or cheap it depends on the individuals buget..hope u understand my point of view..& thx u 4 sharing ur cool belt! =0]
@tornmask This discussion has been had within the belt community for years. Many people are not "serious" collectors and just want an inexpensive replica. Some of us hardcore collectors hate that the hobby is being sold out, cheapened and devalued for kids. Many of the Figs collectors are uneducated and think their $300 belt is no different than the $1,600 real thing. Check out the belt forums and you will see both sides of the argument. My site is belttalk d0t com.
This belt is one of a kind. I will never sell it. Have turned down offers over $2,000 several times. You can order one from Dave Millican for around $1,500 but he has a 2 year wait.
One of my all time favorite belts, the shape of the center medallion is identical to several other belts that came before it,but there is just something about the nickel with the red,a true work of art.Yes,I am jealous.
what about the WCW Tv title that was around for a very short time. I think William Regal is the only one you can find through google wearing this belt. Anybody also thought about the Light Heavyweight Title from early WCW? Just some thoughts
i LOVE the NWA TV title but with Red Leathering

Sorry man, this is the one belt I will never sell or trade. It is one of a kind and everyone who has seen it will tell you the same thing.

Jesus Christ. I envy you sir. How much did you pay for greatness of the caliber?
LegendSlackerman 3 years ago
You can order the belt brand new from Dave for around $1550 the way mine is, but it will not have the deeper curve or the deeper etching.
PawNtheSandman 3 years ago
Did you get that from Highspots?
