Does anyone remember the episode where Laura's mom gets a cut on her leg and then gets sick? Could someone PLEASE put it up? That one was soooo good...but nerve wracking. lol

It's not really freaky, because being married for kids that age just means being with a man or woman you love and that would be your dad or your mum. It doesn't involve anything else.
I do not think that they shoot the does, only the males because they are bigger and if they kept killing the women there would be less to kill in future. You need more females than males to keep the breed alive in the area. It is like they did not kill baby ones at the time - unless they had no choice - because you are just making sure that you will not be able to feed your family properly later on.
The ONLY reason he didn't shoot the doe, was because he didn't want a female deer shot on family tv. He wanted everyone to think he was a nice, caring person.

actually, you're supposed to shoot doe in order to alleviate the population, and leave the bucks for the remaining remales.
