  • THANK U SISTER 4 ALL THAT U DO. GOD BLESS U

  • The truth is, anyone who comes from other places are ahead of the kids in the US, but that's not even the issue. Don't let your false sense of superiority cause you to miss a blessing.

  • People on this forum are being too touchy with regard to the woman talking. Don't let your emotions about Liberia get in the way of your common sense. At least she cared enough to reach out. Many of you complaining wouldnt do a damn thing to assist your own people. So do us all a favor & Shut up!!!

  • she said they were slow because they have been out of school for so long! i dont see anything wrong in her saying it.

  • By enlarge, kids from Liberia go to the United States and find their academic background to be far more superior then the majority of their counterparts.

  • These people are not slow, but rather have some difficulty adapting to your accent and your presentation. Reasonably, there is difference in culture as you mention earlier and I assume that could have some impact on the learning curve. Secondly, the criteria for HS teachers are at a very high standard as oppose to mediocre high school grad being the standard.

  • I am a Liberian and appreciate the work you're doing there. Having said that, I think you should be a little cautious about what you say next time on camera because You're in a position where people will depend on your intuition for insight about liberia. words to the wise "If you don't have enough information to answer a question don't project the wrong answer".
