  • @Udonthani3750 Yes it hurts me Too ! So many Good Isaan/Lao Videos were Gone I hope there were a way to get them back, any way thanks for sharing this Beautiful Music !

  • @vivianyazmin, thanks for the sympathy. Other people have downloaded many of them. Try accelan for Tukatan and Tai Oratai. I do not think the youtube people looking at copyright have investigated him.

  • about 3 years ago i saw Tai Oratai in concert at lumpini ..suan luan night plaza ..just so beautiful to watch and listen to.

  • @JASMINEPRINCESSABLE, fantastic, good for you. Thanks and have a Happy New Year, and best wishes too!

  • @JASMINEPRINCESSABLE, thanks for your comment. Well, did you get up and dance yet or not? 55555

  • WOW how come Thai tourism doesn't promote this stuff! ITS BEAUTIFUL I can get lost in isan music for hours!!! Its awesome, tired of hearing techno music everything I go out in thailand.

  • @ptroy72blue, thanks for the great observation and the great idea.

  • @Udonthani3750 U have no IDEA! Its a huge market, most people I know go for culture not to hear the same music they can listen to in a club down the street! I'm not flying 12,000 miles for that.

  • @ptroy72blue, I agree with you 100%. Fortunately, I have been able to see Tukatan Chollada, Sunaree Ratchasima and Tai Oratai perform in person.

  • they have so many performers...i like there outfit....

  • @vangplayer, thanks. Everything is beautiful about this song. I will be seeing Tai Oratai perform in Toronto, Canada on 23 October.

  • OH I love you a lot tai, I love your dancer too,

  • @tonibabydoll1063, yes, she is the best...from Ubon...and this is the Mun River, in Ubon too. Tai and the dancers are beautiful, graceful and a joy to watch.

  • about tai oratai or about the music . I don t think udonthani3750 need you help . I know for sure . he Learn a lot about history about historic he must know more then you thought .thanks . be happy and enjoy the beautiful music the best way OK ,

  • @ToniDoll63, thanks for the nice remark.

  • you know bob I don t want to go sleep at all . I want to watching this song all night it so sweet tai Oratai . she real isaan girl I love her dance her voice not difference from feather on the air . she it amazing .

  • Thanks for the comments and observation ToniDoll. I agree that Tai has a wonderful voice the floats on the air like a feather. She is from Ubon Province so it is nice that she can have the video of the Mun River in Isaan.

  • tai oratai she got amazing dance . I just love her dance . I m sure one hundred percent she not copy from lao melodies . about the compete I don t know maybe maybe not . about some thing like that who know ? I like latsamy singing and lum too . she it great singer too . well " I love tai Oratai so much . she my favourite one . she got good talent she famous amazing dance sweet and populer . thanks bob ,

  • @ToniDoll63, you have it correct. Why not like both Latsamy and Tai? They are excellent performers, and can be appreciated by anyone. Tai Oratai has worked very hard to raise herself up from poverty to become a popular singer and dancer. She performs Isaan songs and dances very well. I am glad that we have the opportunity to experience the talented and versatile music by Tai.

  • this it so beautiful song tai Oratai she the best isaan looktoung and morlum and also she got good dance too . I don t think she copy from lao melodies . you know in isaan have a lot populer and famous singer and morlum . thai isaan the best morlum and looktoung . they have themselves idea to poetry the culture too .

  • Yes, it makes sense that Isaan has its own morlam and lukthung, and they have probably adapted some from Laos too. Thailand and Laos are not enemies so it is expected that there will be cultural exchanges to benefit both nations. Isaan poetry is special, and part of the culture of northeast Thailand.

  • Lum Salavan from Laos and she is totally trying to compete with Latsamy the Lao singer in this song.

  • @MawlumMawkhaenFarang, thanks. I would not say that Tai is trying to compete with the others, but she is providing her version. As you can see by the remarks many people recognise that this originated in Laos, And I love this version by Tai, and I am sure I would love the version by Ladamee and others in Laos. The culture and tradition is great and Tai gives a fine interpretation.

  • I went there a lot of time I like to set down look maenummoon . look so beautiful. thanks bob

  • OH I love tai I love her dance she so cute , she so beautiful . all her dancer they are looking dancing very solf and excellent . amazing .

  • Thanks ToniDoll. This is a great song performed by the banks of the Mun River in Ubol Province. Tai and the dancers look great in their costumes, and perform this nice song very well. Tai is very beautiful.

  • I think Tai has beautiful voice and the text is very beautiful and has a lot of meaning. I love it when Tai Orathai dance

  • Thanks, this is a wonderful song, and Tai is an expert singer and dancer. She is so graceful.

  • this singer is so amazing. her voice and the beauty of her are just too good to be true. the more i listen the more i get into.

  • Yes, I have the same feeling. Tai had a new cd album that came out on 24 February. The vcd is not released yet. Once I have it, I will upload it. The new cd is excellent.

    Thanks.

  • thanks for the information, i will try to get it as soon as possible.

  • The cd is available now, but the vcd has yet to be released. I think you will enjoy the new album, I know I do!

  • tai she is beautiful girl sweet every thing about tai she make peolpe falling love with her man woman young and old.amazing isaan girl..she got every thing. I can watching her and listen her music all day all night still not enough. thanks.

  • Thank you for your perceptive observation ToniDoll. You are correct to say that Tai's popularity encompasses all age groups and genders. She is one of the most entertaining performers in the world.

  • what is it called? i would like to know.

  • I sent you a message about the new album. It is very, very good, and I am looking forward to the new vcd too.

  • the mv or karaoke and other songs are in the latest album called "morlum daukyah" and it can be found at any asian store and flea market.

  • Thanks for the information; however, it is not in the latest album because Tai has a new album, and it is excellent.

  • do you know what album this is in?

    and all her other songs?

i want her vcd but i just got volume 6 and not all these songs are in there.

    thanks!

  • i like all her albums, and this song, very cool, gin kao leur yung, and toh hah nae der

  • Thanks for your comment, it is much appreciated. This is a really nice song. Tai has another version of this as you probably already know.

  • I would like very much to see Tai performs the others Lum such as: Lum Siphandone, Lum Khonsawan, Lum Mahaxay, Khap Ngum and others. She is such a great performer.

  • I could not agree with you more. I hope that Tai's next vcd/cd will contain more Lum (morlam) as she is so good at it. I think many people want to see Tai continue producing this traditional dance and singing.

  • Conveyed a message to Udonthanie 3750 that you ought to check out these mor lums such as Manivun, Lesamee, Chidharani for a lum sipandone. I am sure that you will like it very much indeed. These mor lum Lao will not only enrich your seasonal holiday enjoyment, but they will also provoke your cultural spirit well-beings. Happy holiday!

  • Thanks for the information, I will try to find out about these mor lums in the week between Christmas and New Year. You have a great holiday. All the best.

  • Yes, I would also love to see Ms. Tai to perform these lums too. She lums so incredibly well. During my trip to visit my relatives in Warincharap, Ubon and Kamarat and other relatives in Savannaket, all of whom possess Tai's CDs. My relatives in Warin not only regard her as a very special singer, but also as a dear daughter of Warincharap, who has been able to elevate a status of the Morlum and Lao-Issan culture to pillarized unprecedented level. Long-lived Lao-Issan culture!

  • Is Tai from Warincharap? I know she goes back to her home area periodically. I bought some Lao vcd's in Savannakhet over the summer and just uploaded one of them by Amphone Keomuangneua on Youtube.

Thanks again for your interesting comment.

  • yes, she is from Warincharap, Ubon.

  • Thank you for that information. I will try to visit there sometime in the future.

  • She is from Ban Kum Saen Chani, Pornsawan, Nachaluay, Ubonrachatani, Thailand.

  • Thanks for that information. It is very helpful na khap.

  • It's actually Lum Sarawan in Laos. Don't forget Lao in Laos and ISAN people were one and the same before.

  • Yes, I remember that. I went to Savannakhet in Laos, and saw the town of Sarawan on the map. It was to the south and east of Savannakhet.

  • It sounds like lum saravun of Laos too.

  • Thanks for the information.

  • Such a beautiful culture....So tender...

  • Yes, I agree. There is an earlier version of this song too. This one was sung at Phra Taem Park, which I visited a week ago.

  • very nice place...I wish to visit there some day....and thank you very much for every reply from you ...it's very nice of you ...:-)

  • I enjoy your comments very much, and I really hope you get to visit this area along the Mun River in Phra Thaem Park, and other places in Thailand too.

  • Yes, ToniDoll, you must sleep once in awhile and not always listen to the beautiful Isaan music.

This is one of my favourite songs of all time. Tai recorded this one before, and it is great too. I will send you that video.

Tai is very beautiful and I like the scene by the river with the hills in the background.

I can listen to, and watch, these videos all day long too, but I must sleep, eat and work.55555

  • I love isaan music I listen all day still not enought, but I have no time to do that, thank you for you upload this song so sweet, I love tai she beautifull,
