Also, you can do a nose-dive to gather momentum, which is sometimes vital in a helicopter fight. You can lunge at the enemy, lock on, shoot. Then, when you've shot, do another nose dive to go under them and come up behind for another shot.

Here's one for you guys:

When locking on to enemy aircraft, only shoot one missile. This means that they use up their flares/ECM and you can quickly fire a follow-up shot, which they cannot dodge.

@YeshGaming great video, but with the scout helicopters sights, there are wider crosshairs around the crosshairs that you are aiming through (the small cross hairs), the difference between these smaller sights and the larger sights are that the smaller ones tell you where the nose of the helicopter is pointing and the larger ones tell you where your bullets will hit when you shoot. You think that you need to aim above your target because, for you, you are always flying forward when you shoot. I

Great vid buddy, learned a lot here. =D I couldn't help but notice that when you said fire slightly above the target you were following the broader crosshairs that tend to move with the physics of your chopper. Is it safe to say, pay attention to those crosshairs instead of the smaller ones? I mean...if you're aiming down really fast then you would want to fire slightly above the target on par with the larger crosshairs, correct?

@pv2barrows Technically, the lower smaller crosshairs are the ones that the bullets are going to hit on. When I made this video, people were just starting out with the helicopters so I wanted to keep it simple and just said "aim slightly below the main crosshairs". Once you are comfortable flying quickly in the "little birds", though, you should start paying attention to the smaller crosshairs. Hope this helps. I will be doing another advanced heli video soon.

@iiStAyMoBBiiNG It's called an "fps freek" made by the company Kontrol Freeks. They are pretty cheap and give you a wider range of motion which allows for more accuracy...especially at higher sensitivity levels. I love them. Debating on doing a giveaway with some of them soon...

@blorp651 Avermedia HD capture card. I use the internal pci model. Took some tweaking to get it to bypass the hdcp from the ps3's hdmi signal but it can be done and the quality is good.

Id like to add something to your missile warning tutorial if its ok. I would do exactly what you describbed was the right thing to do but at the same time jets like to release missels at the last second making it possible to bypass the flares. I have done this tactic against other jets and choppers so i know it works. Id like to add that if you know its a jet or a helli that is locking onto you to actually hit those flares since they will be running into you. Use your surroundings terrain them.

Console EZ mode? PC EZ mode. Much easier to maneuver with mouse/keyboard imo. You can circle strafe and outmaneuver other team's attack chopper more easily - ie using river route in Caspian. Controller is less clunky but come with disadvantages.

@carpet12322 It's worthwhile to disable them as early as possible. It's beneficial to your team to have them disabled at least, and allows your team to swoop in and finish it off without having to worry about it being mobile or accurate while firing.

@carpet12322 if you have the ultimate setup on the scout heli you can shoot at everything and everything is worth shooting at the ultimate setup consists of Laser painter ecm jammer and guided missile. if you paint an amtrac with the laser just by looking at it anyone with a javelin can shoot it from anywhere within range with line of sight or no line of sight doesnt matter and the laser designation deals more damage so you get one in and a teammate gets a javelin in boom amtrac done.

great tutorial but there are times to flare early, if youre very close you will likely get hit regardless. of course youll want to waste as much of their lock on time as possible while gunning them. not the only way but it throws them off their game if you can gun.
