    my name is Throttle Thorneboy??

  • @FreedomFighterspro1 In Chinese Pin Yin:Si Ra Tou Sou En Bo Ai.Enjoy yr lessons.

  • I forsee if Americans ever have to learn Chinese we will never be able to learn the writing system . The result will be what looks similar to vietnamese which is what we will write when we have to work for our chinese bosses . The upper class jobs will be reserved for those who can actually read chinese . God help us all

  • Japanese and Mandarin, although people mixes them all up together, their basic sounds are so different. The Japanese language is well spoken when you make clear and straight sounds, like the First tone of the mandarin Pin Yin, and when I hear Mandarin, generally, the basic sounds are very ... complicated... like, in Japanese you say "Ni" you actually say NI, while in mandarin you kinda like say " NIE" ( or something else xP), I just think its very amusing xDD

  • stupid yuppie...

  • you know what, the way you nod your head to distinguish tone... that exactly what i had to do the first time i learned Chinese. Strangely, some of my chinese friends did not believe when i say that it helps.

  • I have a major crush on her now

  • LONG LIVE YANGYANG....

  • Pin yen pin yen.....without Pinyin I would not be able to make through Chinese (Zhongguo)

  • This really a professional class, I know that there is a lot to chinese and you are giving me real life learning thanks.

  • Tu POLACY przejmujemy ten filmik !!!

  • Such a clever way to make Chinese the language of the future...

  • I know a little Japanese, and I find it fascinating how the two languages are so different, despite the Chinese kanji characters making up a large part of written Japanese. Language is a wonderful thing.

  • I have to admit this is very fun, haha. ^_^

  • and after the economic colapse of china it is going to be compulsory to learn chinese????

  • YAYY!!! this is fun ahahha

  • I decided to learn chinese because they are going to sit on top of the buisness world someday.

  • @FEAR0226 no they're not if they keep abusing the people who have ethics, such as Falun Gong practitioners. Chinese products are known for being poor quality. It didn't used to be that way though - but now most of the ethical people have been abused or killed so are unable to ethically make quality products

  • @TheRushingWind yes, it may be that they abuse the people, but that is how they gain so much control. they grow larger by the minute. despite the fact of their korrupt system, i still belive that they are going to be the best. sad enough though...

  • Nice day !!

Merry Christmas , Happy New Year .

  • App phone translators are they useful ???

  • learning a new language is darn tough, especially one like chinese.

  • english and most other romantic languages seem so lacking of emotion and care compared to oriental languages...ive been working in a Chinese restaurant for 6 months with this cook named mr choy...hes the best and i admire his way of going about things....he barely speaks english but we get along so well...im gonna impress him tomorrow at work with some mandarin lol ..hes gonna laugh his butt off.....awesome vid by the way

  • I really like Chinese and I would like to go to Taiwan (maybe even move there). So I'm really grateful for you doing this, this is the best internet course I found. ;)

I was trying to learn myself, but all I learned was Ni hao, xié xié, wo, shí, méiyou and báoqián. =D

  • I'm now learning Chinese and japanese its pretty hard to learn at the same time but I really want to understand those anime's and I want to communicate with the Chinese people. Cuz where I live we have a lot of chinese ppl

  • Chinese is more than that, most difficult part is different phrases or proverbs, and the people used them frequently. Some of them are not even red the meaning from the words you see.

  • i want to learn chinese so i can understand all the international kids at school!

  • I care about what your answer is!! :)

  • I wish I could see the chinese people putting so much effort trying to learn english x)

Oh wait .. naah it's too easy for them ..

  • @Twincklegirl13

5 times as much people in China learn English as the population of England.

  • @Twincklegirl13

What do you think Chinese people would care to learn English so much? Their economy will soon surpass the American economy...

  • @LucasEllerNewYork it's on its way ..

  • @Twincklegirl13

It's about half the size of the American economy, about 7 trillion dollars there and 15 trillion dollars here.

  • You are so beautiful, smart, and have a special talent for teaching others!

  • @lcausey007 she aint gonna fuck you dude. stop trying to pimp the chinese teacher, get ogff the internet, and get a date.

  • @nneuhaus84 First of all I am a girl, have three kids, and married. Thank you.

  • NIHAŁMA JAKAŚ JA PIERDOLE MUJ MUZG

  • My. Brain. Hurts.

  • 秧秧最棒!

  • Thanks a lot i am going to follow ur courses for the coming months!!!

  • After observing the Chinese and Japanese language i have now come to a firm conclusion that Japanese is easy to learn for foreigners. Not because it's any better than Chinese but because words can mean different things when you pronounce it with a different style of tone. It's a bit tricky but i guess you'll have to suck it up and deal with it. I am still very eager to learn it :)

    保持良好的工作的人!

  • You are terrific! Thank you so much.

  • That's a little bit strange...I'm german and learning chinese. But you can't find many german "learn chinese"-videos...so I choose this way...

  • Yang Yang is so pretty and her classes are so much fun to watch. I think I'm learning Chinese in such a fun way, it's great ;)

  • I just wanted to learn to say how are you in chinese, but after im listening to Yang Yang's voice, im in love to Chinese (mandarin)

  • If you have an iPad, watch?v=Cq1_z1qvN6E

  • I am English through this 1 video I went away and thought myself Chinese. I can now have a short talk with Chinese people. :D

  • I don`t get it..?! ): Soo, ni hao means hello in Chinese..!? && What`s the different between Mandarin, Simplified, or Traditional and soo on..!? I don`t get it! I`m confused. x:

  • @LuvSlipKnot4lifeever ni hao literally means "you good" in Mandarin but Chinese people use it as a basic "Hello". Mandarin is a type of dialect of Chinese. So you have Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien, and so on. It's sorta like how english has American English, British English. Simplified Chinese is what we use everday, like a modern language. Traditional Chinese is usually used in literature, such as how Old English is used in Literature. Hope that helps!

  • @joycebssx996 Ahh,, mkayii, I kind of got it, but I got it, Lolll, thanks. :3 :D

  • In school I learnt '' simplified chinese'' and never learnt '' traditional chinese''. Now I can read classic literature in '' traditional chinese'' without any problem. When you read a traditional chinese sentence which has a word you don't know, it is automatically translated by reading the words in front of it and behind it. Personally I like to read classic literature in traditional chinese which has more beauty. I like to see publication has 2 versions(in simplified and traditional chinese)

  • Thanks Yang Yang! We're going to watch a lesson everyday. You make learning this complex language (for we Americans) really easy.

  • i don't get it, when you say ni hao, you greet people, and then you say ni hao ma to ask them how they are? "ni hao, ni hao ma?" it sounds kind of weird, and it's probably not that, can someone please clarify this :P ?

  • @Ieneco01 '' ni hao'' is general greeting for people even you don't know before. You don't expect response or just get ''ni hao'' for response. But when you say ''ni hao ma'', you are asking people who have closer relationship to you, may be a relative, a friend or a person you know before. Actual you care all things about this person( health, career or family etc.), you expect some response from them.

  • she is amazing

  • 谢谢

  • Omg THANK YOU~ 我是欣月。谢谢

  • just talk with Chinese in chinese.

  • Just want to tell everyone, if you think it is too hard, don't give up. I have been learning in my spare time as a hobby for not very long, and this week I uploaded my very first song written in Mandarin! It is really possible if you just try to relax and have fun learning. Believe in yourself.

  • Never had some one explain things with such detail, something that any new learner needs BIG TIME!!!!!

    Xie xie :)

  • I am so happy to know so many people whom come from all over the world would like to learn my country 's language.

Thanks for Yangyang' vedio, becase my frined whom come from Neederland want to learn Chinese,it will help him a lot.

Maybe next time I can talk with him in Madarin.

    Have a nice day.

  • Great! It is so much better since I could see the pronunciation in her mouth.

  • If anyone wants to, you can give this website (asiabymusic, com) your favotire Enlgish music, and they'll translate it to chinese or japanese for you to study off of and sing at the same time, because vocabulary sticks in your mind pretty easily when you do so.

  • You sound so sexy and look really hot

  • This is 100x better than that rosetta stone rubbish

  • I'm just starting out and this is a beautiful language. I'm from UK, male, 24 years old.

  • WO QIAO NI DE MA!!! : P

  • Ni hao! :-)

  • i know chinese now

  • Anyways... I'm glad I found your channel... Subscribed immediately!

Take a lot of care Yang Yang! And thank you so much for taking your time on dong this videos that are very very helpful, trust me...

    Greetings from México! ¡Adiós!

  • BTW2, I'm Mexican, born and raised, and I so loved to see how you Chinese people pronounce the "X" cause we've got different ways to pronounce it too! Like the "X" on the word "Xinantecatl" that sounds kinda like "Shh" but in "Xochitl" which is a girl's name, it sounds kinda like your "Xiè xiè". But there's more, there is the "X" in México which sounds kinda like the "H" on "haha", and we also use the "X" like in english... let's take the word "Extremo", which sounds like the "X" on "Texas" :D

  • BTW, I've seen various videos on how to learn Japanese, Korean and now this one, and, I don't know if it is you the one who make this look easier, or it is actually easier to learn Chinese than Japanese, not to mention Korean. Except for the "pitch" thing... now I see why "absolute ear" or "absolute pitch" is more frequent in Asian people... Should be!

Maybe I'm wrong about the "which one is easier" thing... all Asian languages seem difficult to learn... but I gotta learn one of them, at least!

  • You sound sooooooo lovely and sweet when you say: "wo hen chou..." at 3:31 that makes me wanna hug you for hours!... :D

Gotta be cause you say what it means, and obviously, you're not ugly... you're not ugly at all!...

    You're so sweet and adorable!

  • 完美的面孔

  • I wish to learn the 'traditional chinese' not the simplified ones. It's an insult to this beautiful lanuage.

  • @PirateKing1256 one step at a time, those would be far too difficult to learn and you will need to know both anyways if you want to efficiently communicate, not everyone in china uses the traditional chinese letters.

  • @PirateKing1256 if you know simplified, for some reason you can automatically understand traditional; but not vice versa

  • @PirateKing1256 shut up and stick to the language!

  • that's great !I like it.

  • Very good, nice class! TKS!!!

  • Grr!hello this is for my grade 1 im grade 5 now much more hard

  • its called wo 'jiao' yang yang... not wo 'shi' yang yang...

  • @pulakification

it could be either. wo shi is i am yang yang and wo jiao is im called yang yang .___.

  • so pretty... cant take my eyes away!
