  • I broke a gear in my White 764 after over a year of pretty constant use and at least 2,000 yards of thread quilting and learning to embroider.. So now I have the Necchi out and set up and it runs great.

  • I just got one for 10 bucks with the cabinet, it was almost locked up...2 hours of cleaning and oiling and it runs like yours.......you can't kill these machines

  • @kodeblew WOW great deal. Yes these machines are the Ferrari of sewing machines. You got a lifetime product there my friend! I love the hydraulic like smoothness and power. They beat anything you can find today.

  • This machine will do the decorative stitches (HUNDREDS+) has a removable oscillating hook, lots of power and finesse is quiet, fast and smooth. After running a lesser machine you will love the "Ferrari" of sewing machines beyond compare.

  • i got one yesterday for six dollars, its in a cherry wood cabinet but noting else came with it, im having a debate with the way its pronounced, the machine was made in Italy so i think its pronounced ( nee-chi ) maybe !

  • @waynerany Its like Neck =E Necky Nec E LOL I'm sorry I'm not good with the English pronunciation of Italian. But that's it Neck E

  • that is intresting 3 way needle plate? Special. The noise thing is not something I see for the first time I have seen low noised machines before, but looking at its age I am impressed.

  • Like your videos a lot, really helpful! I mostly sew dog collars in thick nylon webbing/ thick fabric and my cheap plastic machine does not like it at all... so, now i am thinking about buying an old steel "workhorse". I was thinking of buying the Pfaff 332, but then i saw this video and got kind of impressed. I acctually found an add for one (they seem quite rare in Sweden where i live). I noticed that you have both machines, which one do you think should i choose?

  • @emhe82 Oh my plastic machines!! You will be pleased and amased with either the Pfaff 332 or the Necchi Supernova. If I had to choose.. Hmmm... I'd probably go with the Necchi But i use my Pfaff for heavy billboard mateial and it has at least the same power. Either is a great investment take the hook out of them and see which is smoother, and wich machine is cleaner. My pfaff is in a box and my Necchi in a table so I can use the Pfaff in the driveway for stuff I can't drag in the house.

  • Io ho la supernova ultra!! Era della mia mamma, è stupenda, meravigliosa!!!

  • Hi to all -

Great video, and I too have just acquired a SuperNove Automatica Ultra. Unfortunately, none of the manuals are present. There is one and a supplemental. I am 100% disabled USMC vet, and I make Harnesses and working dog garments for sled dogs, among building models for folks. Anyway my old Singer 15-91 the bobbin keeper has worn out and I am sort of on hold. To cut to the chase, I woull welcome some good karma on the operators manual copy. Any help appreciated. myxdstyx@gmail.com

  • @myxdstyx You can find copies of the manuals on line. I have the manual and the suplemental manual and every part and atachment with this machine. It was an amazing find. I'll have to make another vid showing as much of this as I can but it will be a long video as the manuals are many pages and this machine does THOUSANDS of different stitch patterns ( several pages in the manual) I made copies of the manual but I would need some time to find them all and a site where I could post them.

  • I just bought a Necchi Lelia 512 on Ebay for £9.99 as a first machine for my daughter - it's great! I totally agree about old machines - found you through your shuttle bobbin video (I have a Singer dated 1898 from its serial no) Keep saving those old machines! By the way, why does the Necchi have those 3 different needle plate patterns? Mine also came with the wrong zipper foot. Thanks for your videos!

  • @JanGallon Yes the one in this video has every single thing that came with it. All the attachments, plates, books, cases, needles, screwdrivers, oil bottle, about 30 extra bobbins, cabinet, and matching chair, as well as the orriginal receipt dated Dec 1959, and the warranty card signed by the salesman!

  • Beautiful machine ! And what a deal for $50.

I got an Necchi Lydia3 today for $10 bucks. Now I want the SuperNova, too !

  • @AFateSoTwisted I don't think I mentioned I also got the matching chair with the lift up storage seat that matches the cabinet.

  • @AFateSoTwisted The Nova's are absolutely the top of the line I heard the Supernovas are the best they ever made. After seeing it and the way it runs I have to agree. It's not as powerful as an industrial table clutch / motor machine but can do almost the same thing as many industrials if you know how to use it.

  • cool, I have a whole fleet of Necchis!

  • @poppa2006 I have a couple supernovas and maybe 3 BU's I only like the all metal ones. They are amazingly fluid and smooth, machined like a fine watch. Ultimate quality.

  • Nice comparison. So what do you do with the machines?

  • @ora0001 Make dog beds and repair everything they wreck.
