great set up the power 10 is great power were i live i had to cut on the cowl to let more air in to keep cool but not much i have found the stock motor mount will brake easy in the cold 2 thats wild when your full power and the motor comes lose lol i have the t-28 to both power 10s and 40 v2 esc run 3 cell 2200 30 more power then you need
@PurfictInglesh hi, it did not required any modification. this is why i chose the Power 10. because i wanted something more robust than the stock motor and i wanted it as a drop in replacement. you do have to get a more powerful ESC though.
how does it fly with the power 10? I currently own the parkzone radian and want another plane but when I flew the corsair it was fun but I wanted that little bit of extra speed out of it.
You didn't let it rip???? I was debating on doing the power 10 upgrade and a CC45 ESC, but can't justify spending the money now. I have a 4s thunder power in mine and it rips with the stock setup. Have over 10 flights with no problems...
Hi , I bought a parkzone corsair and I want to buy more lipo packs. Can you help me out cause I don't know much about all the specs (20C, 30C , continuous discharge 15C) it's all chineese to me. I'm looking for something that will not need any mods and not too heavy for the corsair. What should I go for to have more flight time than the pack provided in the kit ( 1800 mah). Thanks for you reply .
Hey Giodog, 20C is fine, and that is usually the continuous discharge rate, and 1800 to 2200 should be fine for the corsair, just check the balance or CG if you change battery packs, make sure it's still just slightly NOSE heavy. C rating is just how much amperage it can dump at once, and burst C rating it can usually do for 10-15 seconds then must be decrease, that's for like take-offs and hard 3D with helis, stuff like that. Get a small digital scale for batteries too, helps a lot
Hey thanks for the reply , I,ve been looking on ebay (from hong kong very unexpensive) 2 packs 2200mah /15c 11.1v lipo 3 cell for 20$ would that be good or should I go for something else? And thanks for subscribing ...
no problem was watching the vid and happened to see your comment. Problem with the cheaper packs is they will not last for as many flights and you may see decreased performance much quicker. Also a 15C pack is ok for the Corsair but will have a lot better pickup with a 20C and maybe need for other stuff later. Tenergy is a not bad lipo, EVO, Thunderpower are pricey but good, Zippy I've heard good things about. Just figure you get what you pay for, but really for the Corsair, all good.
I'll shop around thanks for the tips and will consider the 20C . I'll order a few from hong kong I figure for the price I might as well test them and let people know but will definatly check out the better brands. Oh and btw , my hangar 9 corsair 60 is half way done. I'm looking into the gaz engines also...I,ll keep you posted on that also. Take care .
no problem, ya grab one or two anyways at that price. make sure you charge them less than their suggested too. 2200 charge at 2amps or less, will get more cycles out of them, especially good batteries, and monitor cheaper batteries, especially when charging them in your house..ugh-ly Got a safe charging place? Cool about the Corsair, make sure you have someone that can tune gas cuz I can't worth shyte lol
hi, i'll let you know how it goes. i'm waiting for the battery packs that i ordered to arrive. i don't find it too economical to drive to a location to fly with only the stock battery with me. hehe.

When you install the Power 10, does it require any motor mount modifications?

i can't let it rip... the plane was not tied down... it was a simple sound comparison because the stock motor developed a rattling sound...

it means the receiver has lost power and reconnected again without the transmitter being power cycled...
