I asked Mesa about which would be the best match up for the Mark V and they told me that does not exist. All cabinets will sound good.
For my research the stiletto cabinet = roadster cabinet and both sound very similar to the recto cabinet. In fact, I decided for the roadster because it's reasonably lighter, smaller and cheaper than the recto for the same great sound.
The stiletto cabinet has binding so I prefered the roadster :-)

Nice playing. I got myself a MKV combo and am loving it. I put up a IIC+ mode demo that I recorded with my Zoom Q3 and I think that it sounds pretty good.
I am thinking about getting a Boogie closed back thiele cab to go with my combo for messing with a tighter sound. I bet you are loving the head with that recto cab!
Do you own a Mesa Roadster too?
