  • MJ "There's no I in TEAM, but there's a I in WIN" compettetive spirit, that's why he's the greatest

  • 0:33 scottie pippen cracking up

  • I dont see what everybodies problem is with this. Hes sayin these people gave him motivation to do what he did. You definitely cant take anything away from this man he is considered the greatest

  • haha look at rodman at 8:39 he be like: dat nigga jordan full of shit

  • Michael Jordan: Collector of personal wounds and champion grudge-holder

  • Michael Jordan is just a natural trash talker, and not in a bad way. anyone with that competitive personality is going to be one. thats the reason why he had so many accomplishments.

  • that awkward moment when your the white girl

  • @SpankingGuru blacks just love them white girls & the things they say to these bitches while fucking them. how do you like that big black dick you dumb bitch & forcing them to swallow...cuz she sees the money & while she's hot she's workin' that thang....

  • @loy829 hahah what the hell

  • Who's that woman at the end shaking her head???

  • I loved every moment its better than that status quo bs you hear from most people .. People don't understand Jordan is teaching about motivation find you something to motivate you..Thanx MJ

  • friendly !!!

  • does he hate jerry krause or something?

  • did kobe attend the speech of mj?

  • @wuyue525252

yea just didnt show on camera

  • he doesn't need to shit on people during his speech. handle it with grace. keep all that shit private.

  • he also had a lot of frustrations with the chicago organization. he dropped some serious dimes here.

  • as muhammad ali once said"its hard be humble when ur as great as I am" being humble gets u NO WHERE.dat doesnt mean become evil, some ppl may take ur attitude as evil or negative but hey...FUCK EM!who cares,y r they so concerned about u & not themselves?misery loves company.Victims Love Being Victimized,If dey didnt dey'd get fed up & break da fuck out & realize they greatness & actualize their potential.I use to be a victim, not anymore....

  • ARROGANCE is the way to success ppl.FUCK all this humble shit.Humble shit gets u stepped, walked,& FUCKED over.I'm slowly but surely coming out of this "humble"brain washing shit.Dont humble urself just because another muthafucka wont like u!who really gives a fuck?ur gonna lessen urself by censoring urself just becuz SENSITIVE ass ppl wont like u?DO WUT U GOTTA DO,BE WHO U GOTTA BE-its ur destiny not theirs.arrogance,cocky,confidence,w.e name u wanna call it equals SUCCESS.

  • @MsNocoincidence Nice and yes this modern day and age you have to have a little arrogance in your blood. Back in the days its humble yes but you have to speak your mind at times to get far in life. Its sad but the people who do well in life are the ones who are controversial.

  • people really need to learn the difference between cockiness and confidence. Michael Jordan was driven to be the best because of what he's been through and all he's doing in this speech is letting everyone know.

  • I see why they kept his ass quiet all these years....woo..he been mad a long time....still respect his hustle though.

  • Calm Down!! I'd do the same thing if I was him ... GOAT calling out all the haters

  • Cocky? Bullshit. He has drive and vision. He never let anyone get in his way. That's why he IS Michael Jordan. Confidence comes off as cocky, only when you can't back it up.

  • I didnt realize he was soooo cocky. I guess he deserves to be, he is without a doubt the best player of all time.

  • Comment removed

  • People forget that he retired, twice, while he was still in his prime. The bulls would have won 8 championships in a row if he didnt stop playing basketball.

  • @MAdesignsVan maybe true. But maybe him being away from the game in 94`-95`let him them play so many superb years in his 30s. He actually had a relaxing time playing baseball. In the end,we`ll never know if he would have won 94 and 95. But one we know for sure:He is the greatest of all time.No argue about that.He changed a whole sport,on and off the court..

  • all these people talking about hes cocky and selfish and all this stuff. Name a great basketball player that wasnt cocky or selfish or didnt have the same killer mentality he had. to be great you have to be cocky and selfish

  • lebron click 12 times on dislike

  • jordan speaks the fucking truth. this speech is awesome.

  • i in win... LMAO good one

  • 11 people were born after 2003

  • I love mj

  • however, at the same time -while not only being quite entertaining- the speech also reveals how michael could climb up to such greatness. he is not committed to please everyone's expectation of a vanilla emotional speech, and by all means, he should not have changed who he is to do so. that was the real and honest michael - cocky, but only in the context of competitiveness. like two ballers talking smack to eachother at a 1on1. it would not have been him, if the speech was any different.

  • i know he has all reasons to be that arrogant. but you would more expect such a speech by your rodman/artest style of player, where the cocky speech extends the seriousness of the event and people would think "just the way he is" and it would be all in good fun. but with michael being the most complete and astonishing player to ever touch the ball, people would expect a speech that matches his caliber. as this one doesn't, it's easy to see why people consider it a pretty disappointing one.

  • by far there wilol never ever be another michael as long as humans are on this planet

  • he is the greatest no doubt...still acted like a cunt though

  • @thaqiwagee i agree he was cocky and selfish here, but greatest ever

  • THERES NO I IN TEAM BUT THERE'S A ME

  • ESPN HD.

is that supposed to be a taunt?

  • i like the pat riley part :D

  • you guys gotta pay us... and we gotta play........... now he wants t cut salaries nice

  • @Walruspolo13 you don't know anything about the situation, do you.

  • What people dont understand about this video is that Michael is not being cocky at all...he appreciates and is actually thanking his fellow players and coaches for being just as competitive as he was.

  • its not being cocky... is confidence, showing how he felt as a GOOD basketball player coming up in those times. put yourself in his shoes as a kidor adolescent - you knew that you were invincible furthermore, its HIS time for his speech - induction to the hall of fame. its about mike!

  • for the people who are hating on him for being cocky, remember he has bragging rights. dont angry just cos u dont have bragging rights

  • does he have to make big deal of seat price, he is almost billionare

  • I wonder why Phil Jackson wasn't there.

  • he's the greatest but still too arrogant

  • 11 people couldn't afford a ticket

  • - There is no "i" in team.

    - There is not. But there is an "i" in win.

    Haha, awesome! :D

  • the greatest player ever had to pay to go to his own induction ceremony? WHAT THE FUCK!!

  • @MrJtotheohnnn Except that Jordan was never Robin to anyone's Batman. Kobe was definitely Robin to Shaq's Batman. Jordan was never "secondary" on his championship winning teams. Kobe was... 4 TIMES (Yes Pau Gasol outplayed him in that finals they won against Boston) so that's 4 of 5 NBA finals where Kobe was NOT the best player on his team.

  • @franmicgom

    1. calm down

    2. he is a legend, he deserves to have that attitude if he wants to.

  • @2maddog10 no sorry being a legend is no excuse to be an asshole. He is an example to many and should conduct himself with more class and humbleness. The guy has received nothing but admiration and praise for his gifts and he thinks and acts like he's better than others. He aint shit but a man. A low class man at that and that mean much more than anything he's been able to accomplish on the basketball court.

  • @moneyman237952 is it worse to be a man who thinks highly of himself, or a man who thinks lowly of others?

  • @AlexMoensChannel it's great for a man to think highly of himself. It's essential to have confidence in order to be successful in life and that's why Mike was so successful because he was confident in his ability. To think low of others is just phsychotic. At the end of the day we are all the same. Every man bleeds, breaths, and eats the same. We all dress the same.

  • @moneyman237952 we don't all dress the same, but I agree with your other sentiments ;o)

  • @2maddog10 no one DESERVES to have an attitude.. i wanna punch you in the face for even saying something so ignorant

  • @2maddog10 EVERYONE DESERVES TO HAVE THE ATTITUDE THEY WANT TO!!!!

  • people keep saying shit like ooooo kobe didnt win without shaq and blah blah blah....magic couldnt win without worthy and jabbar.....jordan couldnt win without pippen.....etc etc....game of basketball is a team sport and yes you have your leaders but you also more imporantly need your supporters.

  • His Airness made a very great point about putting the organization above the players.

  • 1:25 tim duncan

  • Ah cracked me up when he said he loved John Starks...

  • This whole speech is MJ talking about how he was better and smarter than his Organizations...Kudos

  • At 4:37 we can se LeBron traveled

  • Kobe quote: Why do you compare me to him?? He is the greatest player to ever play the game. Why can't i just be me?..

  • What up DB? Good to see you are still alive.

  • Ego.

  • He might have been a little cocky here, but he's BY FAR the best basketball player ever. No one compares. Not Kobe, not Magic, no one. Watching him was something I'll always remember.

  • @rsohlich1 I agree he's the best but you really REALLY cant say Magic Johnson or Larry Bird dont compare

  • @rsohlich1 your wrong, you can definetly compare Kobe to MJ. Both 6´6 shooting gaurds, similar game,

  • @nieto1992 true they are the same size and same position but you obviously never got to see MJ play in his prime and be old enough to really remember.

  • thank god it never rained during this fire of his airness.

  • i think if u can play like mj . ur allowed to have a higher level of arrogance . lol

  • great speech by mj. very entertaining. very honest, no cheesyness at all . just pure mj flambouyance

  • He Killed Jerry Kraus in this one hahaha

  • At 1:56 He almost slipped up and called Jerry Reinsdorf a nigga lmao

  • Humble?

  • It was not the most coherent speech but I don't think it was as ridiculous as the media portrayed it to be.

  • Bulls vs Knicks

The 90s most underrated rivalry that need ESPN Documentary

  • Say what you want about MJ, but I think he's a class act. He represents his family very well. He was raised very well by his paarents.

  • The seperation between MJ and Kobe is not that wide of a gap as al these Jordan Worshipers believe. Today kids no longer say i want be the next jordan, they say i wanta be the next Kobe

  • @mrtamnus1 of course they would say that; most of them were still in diapers when MJ was kicking ass. There's a ton of reasons why MJ dominates Kobe, but my main one is this: MJ would never have allowed the Bulls to get blown out to lose a playoff series like Kobe did in the 2004 and 2006 finals.

skill and talent wise, it's pretty close, but MJ blows Kobe out of the water in terms of mental toughness and leadership.

  • @makeitrain47

See here is the ultimate wash to this argument, what if Kobe came first? That is why people live on Jordan and cant let go. He was the og, which obviously is something kobe couldnt help. I think that Jordan was able to get more out of his teamates, however... Is that something Kobe is required to do? Jordan didnt have to deal with questionable effort teamates like bynum, gasol, and odom, Jordan had the hardest working couple next to him in Pippen and Rodman

  • @mrtamnus1 Jordan MADE Pippen. Pippen did have talent (although if he didn't do so well in pre-draft camps he wouldn't have been drafted cuz he played at a really small school), but if MJ didn't push him every day in practice, he'd be a major underachiever. Yeah, Rodman played with passion, but you never knew what you were getting with him daily, whether he'd be focused or still off in La-La Land.

  • @makeitrain47 False, Pippen was an All Star MVP when Jordan first retired, he can dunk from the free throw line, and was ranked a better defender than Jordan. Pippen was always a great player

  • @movalcadillac read slowly and think before responding. all that stuff you mentioned was a result of Michael's pushing with Scottie in practice for years. Pippen was always a talented player, but Jordan toughened him up. That MVP happened in 1994, 7 years after he was drafted.

  • @makeitrain47 Ewww by that thought we can conclude that Pippen made Jordan. Look at it: Jordan without Pippen equals no MVPs no Championships, no DPOY award, and no Finals MVPs or appearances. Wow! Jordan without Pippen can't do shit! Haha! What next wonder boy?

  • @movalcadillac Jordan won Defensive Player of the Year before Pippen was in the league. NEXT!

  • @littlefootlongft MJ won the DPOY in 1988 Pippen was a rookie with the Bulls in 1987. You are dismissed young son

  • @movalcadillac One could argue that MJ would have won more MVPs and more DPOYs if Pippen weren't there to take some of MJ's points, steals, blocks and rebounds away. He won 5 MVPs and took two years off in his prime. Jordan taught Pippen the toughness that he lacked when he came into the league.

  • @VinmanMJ23 You're gonna cry right now, MJ never won a MVP without Pippen, nor a Championship, and his numbers were better before Pippen got there, and he still never won an MVP, without Pippen Jordan equals 1 or 2 championships and 1 or 2 MVPs and probably not even in consideration for Greatest of All Time

  • @movalcadillac LoL.

  • @movalcadillac They said all he couldn't defend, he won defensive player of the year. They said he couldn't shoot, he developed the jump shot. They said he wasn't the same when he came back and he gave us the fadeaway. Said he couldn't beat the bad boys and the Jordan rules and yet he did. He played in a era where defense came first, handchecks and shoves were accepted and there was no such thing as a flagrant foul. Every Dynasty's star had a partner. Bird/Parish/Mckale Magic/Kareem/Worthy. Yawn

  • @bevodinho So who was Kobe's partner? Oh that's right he didn't have one, yeah it was Shaq, or yeah it was a big man, ridiculous excuses. He never won without Pippen, Kobe won with like 4 different line ups

  • @movalcadillac Kobe never won without Fish, and Shaq for 3/5 is pretty significant

  • @movalcadillac are u crazy jordan won a mvp in 1988 when was n t even doing nothing on the court

  • @ta4life27 really dropping like 30. ppg and winning defensive player of the year isn't doing anything on the court? shut up you dont know basketball

  • @ta4life27 must be a miss understanding that was meant for vinman23 in i do know basketball jordan is the greatest ever thats not what meant

  • @mrtamnus1 Of course kids want to be like Kobe.. You give kids fake gold all their life they won't know real gold when they see it.. It's not a huge gap between Kobe and Jordan because Kobe copied everything Jordan did.. He doesn't have a game of his own.. He is still no Jordan even Kobe would call you crazy to even compare him to Jordan. Kobe doesn't understand why their are people dumb enough to think he is on Jordan's level.. Kobe is Great but Jordan is just on another level.

  • @mrtamnus1 That's because there is one Jordan and one Jordan only.

  • Comment removed

  • ik mj is goat but ppl need 2 stop sucking his dick

  • He's the best to ever play the game. Nothing controversial. When you're that good, you say whatever the fuck you want. No one matches MJ and no one ever will. GOAT

  • 2:26 and basically the entire time from all of mj's "guests": "Where the fuck are those punk asses Clyde and Karl at?"

  • man if chuck daly was alive MJ would have made a 5 minute ode and eulogy to the "Jordan Rules Defense"

  • Why would MJ's mom have to work 2 jobs now?

  • @natynix Maybe she just likes to work and doesn't like not having something to do. Some people are just like that. lol I know I am sometimes.

  • Not Bitter Just Stating Facts

    Hands Down The Greatest Ever

  • MJ is good but MJ is better (Magic Johnson and Micheal Jordan)

  • MJ is a DBag. He's the GOAT, but it's not as indisputable as you think.

  • @iamasuperBAMF No, it's very indisputable. Maybe you can say Bill Russell. But that was a much different era.

  • i see drose doing this

  • LeBron...You hear this?...That's how a WINNER'S supposed to REACT.

If you want your title, go get, man!

  • "how bad is the headache?" Hahahahhahaha awesome.

  • Realest hall of fame speech ever...

  • Theres no "I" in team but theres an "I" in win, thats gangsta...

  • Everyone says he was really bitter and mean, but all I heard was a guy telling the truth and cracking some jokes along the way.

  • @thisisgame 91' Bulls will Beat any team today with a Blind Fold On

  • What is he saying negative? He is explaining his train off thought. Let me remind you of who he is...

    A WIIIINNNNNNEEEEERRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!

Charlie Sheen's winning make commercials in awe of Michael Jordan's winning!!!!

  • @thisisgame lmao, marion can shut jordan down, u mean NOW?

  • @kb24TM who is this character that just spoke blasphemy lmao just smh marion haahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahah u should reminded that kid who mj is lol

  • @midgetmensley i didnt say marion can shut down jordan, the other guy said it, which is retarded.

  • @kb24TM ik lol but u should shut him up thats all i was saying lmao 8D

  • @thisisgame You know nothing about basketball, so get out of here with your Mavs.

  • @XTVC I know MJ never won shit without Pippen and Dirk won a championship without the 2nd best player on the team against the Heat who would've swept all of the teams the Bulls played in the finals.

  • @thisisgame Wtf Dirk does not even come close to MJ

  • @thisisgame Go look at the numbers — the Heat wouldn't have beaten anybody in that series. Dirk was pretty damn good, but MJ put plenty of playoff wins on his shoulders.

  • @thisisgame oh and if you think that the heat would have beat any of the teams the bulls faced then you must be even more retarded. karl malone would have made bosh cry, the jazz actually had competent defenders on lebron and wade. and did i forget john stockton????? nuff said.

  • @thisisgame bullshit.....

  • @thisisgame uhh.... i think the 2010-11 mavs are lucky that they never had to play the 1995-1996 bulls. cause rodman wouldve beat dirks ass. oh and marion couldnt hold jordan down in 2002 (cough*game winning shot against the suns*cough) so how the hell do you expect him to do it against the '96 jordan???? would you like me to keep going?????

  • hes just showing what motivated him, not being disrespectful

  • Whoever said this was controversial is an idiot. They just can't accept a good speech. Haters gonna hate. Don't worry, they'll get pissed on like R. Kelly lol

  • why is this speech so controversial? If anything it shows what drove mike to be the best, this shit is inspiring

  • i bet his mum is soo proud

  • he is such a prick and I love it!

  • "second thought, take a pause about things you should do"

you should have followed your mom's advice Michael

  • i love how charles and MJ are good friends off the court but they're sense of competitiveness during their time was so intense that they hate each other for the entire 48 minutes of the game.

  • Pat Riley! Go Heat!

  • The 6 people who disliked this were Utah Jazz players

  • @Lhouie27 Mike is the best of all time...and with this speech he showed he's one of the realest people who ever became a mega star all over the world...Most of them are sicko's Mike is the realest.

  • Mike is hardcore because he comes from nothin to somethin real life.

  • i feel sorry for leroy smith

  • @cooliovasquez That nigga was salty!!! but he prolly be like what nigga i made da team!!

  • Michael Jordan has the right to say WHATEVER HE WANTS. He earned that right. NOBODY will ever do what Michael did. When the Bulls lost early on in his career, Jordan DID NOT leave. People say Lebron is better because of stats. That's bull. Lebron is great, BUT NOT THE GREATEST. He's 0-2 in Finals Championships..... Jordan is 6-0.... You can't beat PERFECTION..... P. S. - Lebron tried to leave in order to try and win a championship..... and the result, another loss..... Jordan is the TRUE KING.

  • @WestonE12 lebron is only 26 michael didnt win until 28 lebron straight out of high school with a bunch of yes men jordan had a hall of fame coach and mentor in dean smith to teach him just saying

  • @WestonE12 lebron is only 26 michael didnt win until 28 lebron straight out of high school with a bunch of yes men jordan had a hall of fame coach and mentor in dean smith to teach him lebron has a mother that sleeps with his teammates and partys michael has a mother that keeps pushing him to be a great man everyday

  • @MrDragonkarp well said man

  • @xxrangepkftw yea sad but true i think if lebron worked on his post moves and midrange game he will become a great player he is already a hall of famer if you asked my opinion also lebron needs to mature more over the summer talk with a julius erving or clyde drexler about humility and talking to the media just letting his skills speak day in and day out on the basketball court

  • @MrDragonkarp LeBron needs to man up in crunchtime. He no-showed against Dallas, wanted nothing to do with the ball in the 4th Quarter... I can't name a player the caliber of LeBron James to do that. I mean great players have chocked in big moments... but at least they took a shot.... LeBron left about 5 bullets in the chamber... I don't get it.

  • @MrDragonkarp man you cant always blame others for being great or for being a choke or being a whatever. its yourself who decide. not every player that have been coach by dean smith did well..

  • @MrDragonkarp idiot.. his "hall of fame" coach earned his "hall of fame" spot during his time with jordan and just added some more proof by helping the lakers win.

  • Ladies and Gentleman: Comic legend Michael Jordan!!!

  • MICHAEL JORDAN IS THE BEST EVER (PERIOD)

  • this speech is the difference between the drive of MJ and the lack of drive from lebron

  • JOHN STARKS

  • The greatest Hall of Fame induction speech of all time.

  • @williambobthorton thats outrageous, Michael Irving

  • @williambobthorton Dennis Rodman's was also really really good. that speech touched me , i agree with u too but rodman's in the competetion

  • MAke a speech like a boss

  • "how big is the headache?"

That quote pretty much sums up why he's the greatest

  • psstsh! Classless? U crazy! If anybody is has the right to say this stuff, it's MJ! Luv you Michael! Truly in a class of his own!

  • I don't get the hate either. I loved this speech. Too many people give these vanilla boring speeches and just thank people. You seen one you seen them all. It wouldn't have truly been Jordan if he hadn't been honest.

  • @chrisvermillion That is why he was the greatest. He always felt he had something to prove. He always wanted to be better and better. He was never complacent. If it wasn't for that "insecurity" or whatever it was, he would have been another Lebron James. Tons of athletic ability, but too complacent to improve and push his game to the highest level.

  • the best ever class all the way.
