neither sound offensive, the 4 cyl needs a turbo blow off valve hiss at the end though. if i was shitting money i'd have a rice rocket next to my hypothetical mean v8 rwd car to buzz around town in sometimes, i'd be a complete asshole about doing up a body kit, loud stereo and painting it puke green with fast and curious graphics but i'd do serious no bullshit horsepower mods to it to make it hold its own against fuckers if need be. i wouldn't pick any fights with muscle though.

@DraikonZ3 V6's will never get that V8 sound because it is missing two cylinders... firing orders, cam duration, mufflers and exhaust, all play a huge role in particular sounds. But I have to admit that actually the new 3.7 liter V6 in the base coupe Mustang has a darn good sound for a V6, IMO... Also, GM's 4.3 Vortecs had a decent sound for a V6.
