Could this be part of the reason hyenas have greater hunting success than the cats? I find it funny that every tour group wants to watch a kill and then as soon as the hunters go in for the kill the people on the bus start freaking out and make the bus driver move. 

The real cunning aspect of these hunters is they use the vehicles to their advantage. At night they run the prey into the lights to blind them and if it is day time they just stalk around the vehicle, they know it will eventually move.

"The testicle strategy" is very common with hyenas. If you a are a male animal being hunted by hyena's, you'll likely feel your first bite right there:) By the size of them it appears to be female hyena's, they are generally much larger than the males and are usually first at a kill.

I can't tell if this is a female wildebeest or just a "testicless" male, maybe the hyenas already ate those, not sure though. It was coming to your vehicle for protection. They do that alot when hunted. Nice vid

They remove the sick, weaker individuals of the herd thereby keeping the herd healthy and the species over time evolves to something faster, stronger etc because of the selective pressure their predators put on them. similarly their predators evolve to keep up with their prey.
