i had bfbc 1 for xbox 360 and i nerver ever had server problems. maybe its cause we pay for internet unlike ps3. so id assume more care and money is put into the xbox 360 servers.

its idiots like you that actually think your getting something for paying for online that make up most of the Xbox community. The servers are from EA Sony and M$ have nothing to do with them.

EA is the company Sony and MS are partners. EA owns all rights to their dedicated servers. EA sales help improve server quality while Sony and MS independently help maintain updates. All of this is costly so they cant just update/patch all the time.

I have had the BF series on PC from the first BF 1943 and loved every moment,Dice now with EA is a totally diff thing as far as quality concerns go,i,e EA do not give a fuck about servers and this is my main reason to moan about EA,not DICE in general but if they want to piggy back off wankers then IM not buying in.

I have BF1943 on PS3 also made with EA/DICE and its shit as fuck trying to get a server that works.EA use in house servers unlike the rest who use the networks.

I like the BF games online only but the EA servers are so shit it is offputting. I will buy a pre owned copy a few weeks after release or rent a copy and just hope things are ok on the servers....this time,not holding my breath though but your correct it is a shame to miss a game im into.
