  • do you breath oxygen before enter in the arch? it seem like you stop before the arch, take another breath and continue your dive. Its nice but that is 2 breaths no one single...i know for william t., herbert nitch and natlia m. do this thing but i never heard about you...

  • It whould be to dangerous if he take another breath in 58m depth !!

So it was a single breath !

  • Nice :) Why did he use mono?

  • WTF i'm not a diver, so don't ream me if this is not new technology...k? but that flipper thing is BADASS!! it's like a mermaid, only real. is this a new concept? (ppl have probably done this for zillions of years, huh? sometimes, i feel so out of the loop. TGFyoutube)

  • woow..that's soo amazing.. wish i could do that one day !!!

  • Very nice @!!!

  • Every 3 meters, hold your nose and push an air into it. This is the basic idea that prevents the pain. If you dont do that, the preassure will destroy your ears.

  • so if i push air i get air out of my lungs however am holding my breath , wont it decrease internal air pressure in the lungs ? it will deiminish my air supply ,and tell me , can a muscular guy reach that distance ? coz i am a weightlifter and free style wrestler and i can only go down to 10 meters ,, thanks

  • It's all about training really mate, practice equalization techniques if you plan to dive deeper or you'll hurt your ears. I think cardio-vascular fitness will help with the breath holding part. Anybody can freedive if they practice enough, i suggest reading up on how the body adapts when underwater, mammalian diving reflex is the main thing, it helped me become a better diver knowing the science behind it.

  • But i wanna know somthing why divers are not bodybuilders and why bodybuilders dont climb mountains and why divers do dive and dont wind surf ??? does every one of this got a special body or a special physique u know i am a medical student but i couldnt find this in medicine why u can just do one thing in ur life and be happy about it ? is it coz of the limitation of the human body skills or what please answer me this coz am soo confused ,, do u ride motorcycles and horses ?

  • I do many sports apart from diving like cycling, running and climbing. I prefer sports that involve more cardio fitness than strength. I think people who have trained to be bodybuilders have trained there body to be strong and have good physique rather than fit, and there body isnt really trained right for diving etc...divers are not bodybuilder bacause diving doesnt require great physique or strength, it requires great cardio-fitness and mental strength. hope that helped. :)

  • but there is somthing here that really i want an answer for it why body builders dont free dive ? why they even dont scuba dive ? why freedivers dont climb mountains ? why u dont rock climb ? do u ride motorcycles and jumb over horses ? and if not why not ? is the human body limited ? only can do one function ?

  • I want some of what fantaz is smoking.

  • but it'll only work above ~25m depth because sooner or later you're lungs are fully compressed. to go deeper than that you have to use other techniques like bloodshifting.

  • i can hold my breath pretty god ,, but my ears kills my at only 7-10m what can i do to stop this problem

  • I have a question whats the name of the Song??

  • it's "whispering wind" by moby

  • Andy, das ist genial!

    Super Kamera-arbeit!

    Gerald aus Wien

  • this rocks, dude!

I was in Dahab in July for a bit of training and certainly hope to be able, one day, to get through the Arch. But first thing first, to get myself down to 55m!

    Good vid too, congrats
