I found it extremely interesting that everyone says House is a jerk, but in these episodes he shows feelings. For god's sake, he even sheds tears in the second episode when he understands that its Amber. He has a soul somewhere deep inside its shell, and for a single moment, it poked its head out. He even mentions several nice things in Amber in "Heaven" and why he is the way he is.

@LingFangKou Very much so. These 2 episodes are what got me into this show. I love how in these episodes House is to intent on finding out what happened and who was dying, putting his own health at risk, obsessing over it. And how he is distraught at not being able to do anything about it once he understands it all. Like he is this great doctor, capable of solving and medical mystery and able to help any patient and here in this case he can do nothing to save her.
