  • Is it ready to race

  • @SPRCVIDEO are there any deference of speep ???

  • im really interested in buying this buggy, but i cant find parts anywhere

  • There are a number of online resources where you can get parts. Two big ones are amainhobbies.cöm and absolutehobbyz.cöm, or you can contact Kyosho America if you're in North America.

  • @SPRCVIDEO ive already look at those places, is there another vehicle that shares the same parts with it? because they don't have anything either

  • @motomex79

Send me a message with the part numbers you're wanting to replace, and I'll track them down at a source that's convenient for you, or we'll take care of it directly (we're only able to help within north America).

  • Would you recommend this buggy for a beginner?

  • @raZer979

Yes, of course. That is exactly who this car is designed for. It's a nitro car so there a little more challenge to starting with this version than say the VE model, which is brushless electric powered.

  • @SPRCVIDEO Ok, thanks. Is it easy to tune?

  • @raZer979

Yes, as far as nitro engines are concerned, it's rather simple to tune.

  • dose the percent of the nitro deference in the cars power ?

  • @TheMm77mmdd

Not really. This engine is designed for use with 20-25percent nitro. The difference between them is not really noticeable.

  • I bought a Kyosho 1:10 FORD RS-200 in 1994, & the old bugger still runs,it has a .10 engine ,4 wd rally car ,I put a 2 speed gear setup when I 1st bought it. goes well,..I am going to buy one off these soon 2011,...Bloody reliable ....RC cars & buggys.

  • what kind of fuel do you need? answer pls =)

  • @tulleboi

I used standard 20-percent nitro RC Car fuel.

  • @SPRCVIDEO and u can buy that from a rc store? :)

  • @tulleboi

Yes. Most RC-related hobby stores will have the fuel you need.

  • @SPRCVIDEO thx alot bro! :)

  • would a .21 emgine be a direct drop in and would it handle the power?

  • @Straightsix76

I haven't tried it, so I can't answer for sure if it's an easy conversion. Will it handle the power? Yes, but any time you add more power, it places more stress on the drivetrain, so it would take a more careful approach to driving to avoid any damage that might come from a combination of reckless driving and a more powerful engine.

  • where can i get glow plugs for this motor cant find them anywhere? looking to buy one!

  • @RACINGPRO70

The engine takes standard glow plugs available at most RC related hobby shops and online retailers.

  • are they durable?

  • @SuperRowsell

We have a few people that run them at the local track with the full-blown 1/8 buggies, and they hold their own. I've seen them come off the track wounded, but the owners were beating them up pretty well. I guess durability is in the eye of the beholder. If you drive it hard and hit a lot of stuff, perhaps a little less durable. If you drive it smoothly and target quick laps and "normal" jumps, it's much more durable.

  • whats the top speed?

  • is this good for first nitro car? sorry for my english

  • @stppalautus

Yes, it's designed specifically for someone getting into nitro cars for the first time.

  • tasmanian sand devil, i have this but the DST..great car!

  • this looks like an o.k. car and the bodies are great, but it's not really 1/10 scale.

  • @losipoop

Scale is relative. There isn't a real version of this car, so 1/10 scale of what? ;o) As compared to other 1/10-scale cars, it IS a little bigger, and a little less than 1/8 scale. Somewhere in the middle.

  • @SPRCVIDEO i'd say that there is a real version of this car. it's an off road buggy. i was just saying that there really aren't any 1/10 scale nitro buggies aside from the no-name companies who dont produce top quality vehicles. i think kyosho used to make one, but not sure.

  • @SPRCVIDEO how could I make it a little bigger to make it a1/8 scale. I am asking because I have a old one(1.0 TRUGGY). Is it possible to make it so it is able to race 1/8 scales cars.

  • @ment2bzer0

The original DBX truck and buggy share the exact same chassis. the only difference is the body and body mounts. You can convert that to a 2.0 buggy that is virtually 1/8 in size and it can run with 1/8 cars if your out bashing around, but there's still a significant weight advantage for the conventional 1/8 buggies, so you're not going to win in a crash. As far as racing competitively on a track, the DBX isn't intended to compete with cars like the Neo Race Spec and the MP9.

  • @losipoop

It's an error. The .18 engine is 3.0cc.

  • is it a new car and what is the price

  • Nice Car and Nice video,

But at 1:18 it says: .18 Size Engine (2,5cc).

    But .18 Size is 3cc...

  • @TheBerny1996

You're correct! It should say .18 size.
