  • You're doing it all wrong!! I feel so bad for Odie, got to the vet or a groomer and have it done.

  • idiots. that wasnt funny.

  • Squeeze his head. problem solved!

  • Poor dog!

  • havent you been told not to rape the dog?

  • This is when it's time for a trip to the vet. Some people just aren't comfortable doing things like this and they shouldn't attempt it. If there had been an infection blocking the duct you could have ruptured the anal gland and had to put him through surgery.

  • stop being such pussies you PETA fags.

  • why are you laughing?!!! if your butt looked like that do you think you would be laughing, geez! the poor things in pain. have some empathy

  • @MsTruthSeek I wouldn't be laughing, like the dog, but people would be laughing at me. People are cruel, maybe if you got off youtube and into the real world a little you'd know that.

  • @MsTruthSeek

I would be laughing so hard if my butt looked like that. Go on short term from work, make money by sitting my ass on some ice and become famous by squeezing it out on youtube. I'd become more famous than Robb Angus

  • I feel so sorry for your dog. You're hurting him and you're laughing while doing it. TAKE HIM TO THE VET!

  • @abbeesmom watch the video. They are going to.

  • true that!

  • It's 4 and 8 o'clock position for each gland. Squeeze it between your finger (in the anus) and thumb. If you did it right, you'll see dark liquid squirts out, and you will notice an awful smell. Best thing is take the dog to a vet or you wind up hurting the dog.

  • ugh!...... i regert looking @ this while eating DX

  • soothe his butthole lol

  • STOP MOLESTING THE DOG!!!

  • I really hope you took your dog to the vet. Swollen anal glands can become a serious health issue for your dog if not taken care of properly.

  • Watch how we do it on Lealmom. Look up the anal gland video!!!!!

  • too bad the bath doesn't help..I did that with mine. I bathed him three times in one day (only the butt area) I used neutrogena...johnson and johnson..soap..and even baby wipes..noting worked it still smells. Now I may have to take him to the vet cuz the smell is nasty.

  • that's cause you need to actually squeeze the glands to make it extract that nasty stuff.

  • If the anal sacks are not draining properly, they can become infected and if not drained manually, impacted, which is VERY bad. Major infection, very ill, rush to the vet. Some dogs NEED this done, some don't. If in doubt, ask your vet.

  • It's just something you HAVE to do to keep them healthy. A lot better than the alternative of an infected anus.

  • Lots of dogs never have this problem, or if they do, it's so minor that they take care of it themselves i/e licking and scooting. But if you notice that your dog is scooting a LOT, and paying more attention to his butt than he usually does, then you need to do it manually. You can try the massage method, but at this point, that probably won't be enough, and you need to do it digitally (finger up the butt). Wear surgical gloves, lubricate your finger, and you'll be able to feel where to squeeze.

  • it's all worth it for the epsom salt line.
