That is why I never spend more than one day in Manila it' s so polluted that when you go for a walk for more that 2 hours you will notice that your nose is stuff from polluted air that came from vihicles. It's so frustrating..
It all started when the spanish introduced to us the public and private place. Our lolo s and lolas hate the spanish then so if ever they have a trash they just threw it on the the public places, they want the spaniards to take the responsibility for it.. But us Filipinos are clean to our personal hygiene and to our home.
I was at Manila Bay about 6 months ago...and the smell of sewage was the first thing that struck me, this was along Roxas Blvd. in an expensive area. I would love to see the Government invest some money here and clean up the bay. It could be a wonderful place if they did so. Appreciated watching this informative video, I know your heart is in the right place. I hope the right people are watching it too....
CALLING ALL FILIFINO'S ABROAD: let US all unite as ONE, by helping the poor in OUR beloved country the Philippines. "WE cannot do everything, but WE can do something". Let's start with the Barrangay where WE were born first, then extend to the next Barrangay. Let us break this cycle of poverty by giving ONE child (s) an EDUCATION and teach parents about FAMILY PLANNING. WE cannot help them all, but we can start by helping ONE first, then many beTWO. "ASKED, WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR YOUR COUNTRY".
unfortunately the catholic church who controls the Philippine government does not believe or allow contaceptives or any effective family planning. education is being controlled by the church as well. the church needs to be separated from the state. i hate to say this pero malabo na magbago ang pinas.
@fuzz461 ur right malabo na mag change ang pinas sa tao at sa gobyerno nalang un kung kakayanin nila sana ngaun naka upo c nonoy kayanin nyang ausin manila bay at ilog pasig

But this is what makes Manila an interesting place. If I wanted clean I would go to Disney land, I have gone to Disney land and it was boring.
