Listen for great music like this on a new radio station called "OffTheCharts" - featuring 70's (and some 80's) lost hits and chart wonders!
Go to Live365.com, type OFFTHECHARTS in the Search box and click on the station logo. The audio stream should begin. Become a VIP member and listen commercial free!
@meanalcohol Hardly. But Cheap Trick is one of the few bands that comes close, especially this song. There are a rare few that can handle a guitar like George Harrison, or sing like Lennon/McCartney. But Cheap Trick was heavily influenced by the Beatles I believe, so they get it right.
this is my favorite cheap trick video and i have seen a lot. i love it when rick says "i made this guitar specially for germany" everything about it is great! : )
Been a while since I listened to the CT version of this song.... it really is a blast at the rockpalast! Pure power pop at best its best. Rick Robin Tom and Bun... I salute you - rock till you drop!
this is the first song to use the repeat lyric for dramatic effect "it took me so long to find out. and i found out". one more notch on the Beatles' #1 belt :)
Thanks for uploaded!

This is a good cover, but I think Otis Redding's version is better.

@205Gabe When did Otis perform this song? In concert? Or on one of his albums? Is there a video or audio of it?? I'd like to know...

Many of the Beatles' tunes were done better by the other artists.

This is the only song I know of to use an 8-string bass. It makes sense as the original riff was bass & lead in unison octaves.
