I love how Bobby doesn't call a timeout after the free throw miss, "the shot" just comes from running the motion offense...Bobbby said somewhere that the pass by Thomas was the best paert of this play, becasue any other big man would have forced that shot on the baseline and not have looked to the hot hand.
I remember watching this game, I went nuts when Keith Smart hit that shot. Me and my dad where hugging each other giving every one in the room high fives. We literally cried that day. Greatest feeling in the world

Tubbs was the former coach and Athletic Director at Lamar University where
Patrick Knight, Bobby's son, is the current Head Men's Basketball Coach, Lamar.
Also, I went to Lamar University, and then onto grad school at Indiana as a graduate assistant for the IU Men's Basketall team. Now Patrick and I are back at Lamar. connections?

I'm sure the network honchos were already prepared for a Syracuse victory. I think I heard the radio broadcast was ruined, or they ran out of tape mistakenly -- another idiot move.
I love and will always love Indiana Basketball. If you want to say any shit, go ahead, but no program is likely to match teams like our three championship teams. IU fans are the best that exist, and I don't see them going around being assholes, it makes me love them even more.
I HATE Kentucky and Purdue, but not because of their teams or players, its all from the asshole, obnoxious fans.
Listen, long story short, I LOVE LOVE LOVE my team, and we're on the way up. In a couple years, watch out.

Tom Crean has restored my faith in the mens basketball program. We will be on top again. I am going to enjoy watching these kids grow and mature.
