  • wow

  • a big kicker.

  • It's a lot smaller and shorter distance in person, went here with a friend over the summer...and when you do fall, you will get scraped

  • This is gonna be great for off season

  • its not as fun as going 1 feet deep in powder.

  • slippy and grippy!? ahaha make some synthetic shit that is like a fresh foot of powder and ill be interested anyone whos ridden on this knows its nothing like the real thing they try too hard to make this seem acceptable 'snow' sports will never happen where there is no snow, that simple

  • @ShredSurfSkateRepeat You don't ride park in a foot of fresh powder. This is a training facility for freestyle aspects of the sport. If all you like is long runs in powder, then you will not like snowflex. If you're a park rat and like hitting jumps and rails all day long, then you can't find a better place to ride year round on the east cost. Thanks for your input anyways.

  • a grind rail... lol

  • I didn't find this surface very grippy when I tried it (in Britain). Slippy, yes but not really grippy.

  • wanna see some AWESOME snowboarding on Snowflex in The Netherlands click the link

    /watch?v=p9-d3FfzY_A&feature=channel_video_title

  • "jumps, twirls, or whatever" smh @ corporate

  • Are they serious? This stuff sucks to fall on

  • where can i buy snowflex ??

  • @MegaBeile it cost like $500 for 6 sq ft no joke

  • Prolly hurts like a bitch to whippe out on in a tshirt

  • iv ridden snow flex, for snowboarding it sucks you cant edge at all or you just slip out, its being way over hyped. still if theres no snow this stuff is better than nothing though

  • this place is so chill. i went up there last weekend having never snowboarded before. idk how close it is to real snow but i was impressed. got a quick 50-50 in second try hahah

  • looks gay and wat about those kids inhaling those little particales cant b goood

  • @SuperTheshiz

I went on it today, and there were no particles. It feels like velcrow but longer and slicker. and it doesnt hurt at ALL to fall on. I cant compare it to real snow bc this was my first time snowboarding but it was pretty cool- id go again.

  • thank u so much im going to tht so much

  • Can't wait there's a place like this opening up at the local board shop it's gona be tight only rails tho

  • KICK ASSS!!!!!!!

  • can you buy this stuff?

  • @LEG1N4M3NT its like 50dollars a square foot

  • 0:59, fucking homo

  • lol @ 1:02 wtf?

  • i wish my university had this

  • I'm not sure what's more disgusting, the fact that Liberty University's administrators let their egos go unchecked, wanting to brand everything in the city 'Liberty', or the fact that they've completely ruined the landscape.

Candler's Mountain used to be pretty, green in the summer, multi-colored in the fall. Now the natural beauty is gone, and you have what amounts to a white astroturf down the side. It's horrible looking, and you can see it from miles away.

  • @wct097

there is plenty more mountains for you to admire stop complaining about this one

  • Not talking about admiring anything. I'm talking about the eyesore I have to look at every time I hit the expressway. You can downrank my comments all you want, but a landfill wouldn't look as bad as this monstrosity.

  • @wct097

i get what you mean but i kinda like it

  • You like seeing that crap on the mountain, or you like the idea of having a slope to play on? Two completely different things. I'm a snowboarder, but hate seeing LU's snowflex center.

  • @wct097

yeah it is a bit of an eye sore but i like the boarding. in fact i was just up there about an hour ago.

  • @wct097 whats your name, i bet you dont own a snowboard

  • @phryks Burton Canyon & Ride Yukon.

  • you obviously dont ride.. or ski so i feel bad for you cause this place is great

  • @wct097 Liberty made Lynchburg what it is. Like it or not. GTFA

  • @phryks What an egotistical and un-Christian like thing to say. I'm not anti-Liberty in the slightest, but I'll tell you that I don't appreciate the monstrosity on the mountain, the traffic, bad drivers, loud LU neighbors or the fact that Lynchburg doesn't have a Hooters. ;)

  • @wct097 Figures, someone calls their self a "snowboarder" but is more worried about a hooters then a place to snowboard.....Move out of the city if you don't like city life.

  • @phryks I wasn't aware that being a snowboarder was mutually exclusive with eating hot wings. LOL @ a <200yd slip&slide being a "place to snowboard" and "city life".

You're not doing a very good job of representing your school. Faced with a minor amount of criticism, you immediately jump to the "GT-F-O" comment and insults. Good job.

  • @wct097 i consider myself a snowboarder and it is a place to snowboard. you talk about them "wanting to brand everything in the city 'Liberty' "....They are a huge part of this city and they own a lot of property, which they can do what they want to with, since, they do own it. I do not go to Liberty. and yes, college students can be loud an annoying which is why I don't live around any. and the GTFA was telling you to get away from Lynchburg. I don't believe I insulted you in any way.

  • what a disgraceful use of beatiful CANDLES mountain !!!

  • It's "Candler's Mountain" and it's about as far from "disgraceful use" as you can get.
