@HerroHerrar As that might be, the J-37 Viggens were grounded at that time but the mechanics wanted them to have the engines running on the platform due to mechanical reasons. This was in the end of the J-37 Viggen era which meant that they weren't particularly fragile and most of them were to become scrap metal anyways. Where this plane served the base stopped using J-37's in 1993, which means they were probably just enjoying the last of the plane judging by the age of the video.

@kaikkinimetvarattu2 well tbh, it has never seen any real combat hence sweden hasn't been in war for 200 years, but Swedish planes and pilots were flown to FInland the last time you fought your last wars. So no real difference there. And Swedish pilots tend to get a lot of training through combat exercises such as Red Flag Nevada, Red Flag Alaska, Loyal Arrow etc. Finland doesn't participate in especially many exercises.
