Lucinda has no problem being sweet and loving toward her daughter, as long as both women understand that Mommie Dearest is firmly in control.
Lily is lucky that she's as normal as she is. Many children of domineering parents end up with deep psychological scars.
In a barely noticeable way, TPTB almost did what I hoped what would happen after Holden and Carly's affair. Lucinda would go after Carly and Lily would get mad when she found out. But La Walsh didn't do enough damage, as far as I'm concerned.
