Vienetta used to be in the US year round in the 1990's and was sold by Breyer's ice cream. It's getting attention now because apparently it's Prince William's favorite dessert and with the upcoming wedding there's been all sorts of coverage.
Sadly since this video, I believe that Vienetta was only a seasonal thing. :/ Snowflakes were shown on the box, and we did find it around the holidays. So it's possible that's why, as we can't find it anymore either. Makes me really sad it's not available all year long.
Ahhh the same thing happened to me, i was walking thru the frozen ice cream isle and lo and behold! I grabbed a box right away and my hubby(who is from el salvdor) never heard of it but remembered me talking about it before, so needless to say there is only a little bit left and i broke my diet, but man was it worth it!
where did you find the ice cream at... i will travel if need be. My niece lost her dad this year and they used to eat this ice cream together and she is asking for it again... please help me.
I found it at the commonisary....but i think you can find it in Food Lion as well...Why don't you call all the local grocery stores in your area and ask. Good Luck! I'll be thinking of your niece!
I've not had a Vienetta in many years, but I always see my nan eating one every so often. Problem is I always ate an entire one all to my self in one sitting ^_^;

Vienetta isn't exactly a 'holidays only' thing. It's probably only exported to America during the holidays, I'm assuming.
It's made by Walls, a British company, and it's available here in the UK all year round.

Super Random, but you look exactly like someone that went to Olympic High School in Bremerton/Silverdale Washington.
Pretty much carbon copy (which is good since you'd both be carbon based).
