I just got the DVD, I'm really looking forward to watching it this weekend. This looks like it's going to be quite a different spin on Gnosticism than what you normally find in a documentary or even your average historical academic writeup. I also like the fact that it's produced by Gnostics, especially since the subject matter is esoteric in it's nature, who better to talk about it than those who live it...

This is really good - Jesus'story, his life had so much more meaning than what is currently understood by the general population. And now it's being told in the open - quite amazing, really when you think people were burned at the stakes for talking about what is being said in this video. coming from a catholic family I'm surprised that we are not taught the history of the gnostics and of the bible as explain in this very informative DVD. It has raised a lot of questions especially why is it that throughout history the church tried so hard to wipe out the peaceful gnostics and hide this information from us.

Even while growing up and going to church, I felt like something was missing; there must be more to Jesus's mission and story. It seemed too "easy" to just believe and then you're saved. After I started learning more about Gnosis and practicing it, I found what I was looking for. By putting these tools and practices to use, I can see real growth in myself. I got a sneak preview of this DVD at a festival here in Melbourne a week or two back, I'd say it's definitely worth a watch for anyone who wants to know more about the origins and modern practice (How to be a Gnostic!) of Gnosis or about what happened when the Christian church was being formed, how the bible came into being, what happened to the other texts and teachings of Jesus etc.

I've seen this in full and own a copy. Many documentaries on spiritual subjects are biased one way or the other, but I find this one to present the points in a balanced way that leaves it up to the viewer to decide what should be done with the information. The information is solid and well-researched, clearly outlining what Christian Gnosticism is, why to study it, and why and how it's different from conventional Christianity. I think anyone, religious or not, should take a peek at this DVD.

I can verify this is true re: being able to learn how to connect with spiritual beings and get direct spiritual guidance.
