i went from a kx100, to a ktm 200exc 2 stroke, when i was younger. I dunno man ive ridden cr250's, and the power band on your 85 is actually scarier if you ask me. The 250cc bikes are just crazy fast. If your feet can touch the ground, i say go for it.

If you know how to use the controls you can ride anything easy pretty much. If it is your first bike I would not recommend it. When I first got my 125 I was amazed at the power. Now I'm getting kind of bored with it and moving up to a 250. A 250 will almost always loft the front tire though

well no.. dirtbikes have 1 piston its the way they move. a fourstroke goes up and down 3 times then it hits hard. a two strroke bounces once then hits hard.
