There is no so-called ceiling effect with Sub. It binds hard to receptors & can even kick weaker binding drugs off & cause withdrawal if not timed right. Vice-versa you can get high on sub if dose is low & timed right as Sub only binds half receptors while other opiates bind full (oxy, meth her). Naloxone is only active if injected. My brother in law died from methadone. He was an alcoholic though. He took methadone and his heart stopped. He left his wife who is my sister who is an alcoholic and three children. I HATE DRUGS!!!!!!!
The pharmaceutical companies don't get a profit from people doing meth. However, if all the energy is put into getting people off meth, they can make the problem appear more urgent and on a much grander scale than it is, hence, effectively taking the focus off of prescription med deaths and/overdoses. Same reason why we have the cure for cancer, aids, & diabetes and yet deny it---how many pills/syringes/hospital beds/doctors are truly needed after an illness is cured?

yea, almost every illicit street drug has a twin sister or brother in the pharmasutical world. they difference? money. the money generated by the government. that is the only real difference between, lets say heroine and oxiconton, or meth and adderall, and the rest of the long list of drugs you can purchase from the dealer down the street who doesn't pay taxes or from the wlgreens down the street who kicks back billions of dollars every year........

What makes it worse is that they make Amphetamine prescription drugs, which is basically watered down speed. They're usually given to kids for ADHD.
Opiates, Amphetamines, Benzos, Ambien... All being handed out like candy. Sad.
