Play this clip again. Only this time, watch the ticker, aka 'crawler', at the bottom of the screen. Notice how slow it moves, then how suddenly fast it becomes, after she 'comes to'. Though funny, this clip was doctored.

Look at the TV screen (and its reflection on the table below) the footage (although unclear) and the edits do not appear to be changing speed at all
The background music stays the same speed
They joke about her being 'in a trance' and drooling out of her mouth (people don't drool when they've only lost concentration for a couple of seconds)
Also her eyes roll back, shakes her head and IMMEDIATELY smiles/ laughs like switching alters!

When the crawler moves fast it moves way too fast to read, yet the presenters are talking at this point so we know the film is the correct speed, so obviously the fast crawler is a mistake by someone in the studio at the time.
Also the crawler starts scrolling at the start of the clip (TODAY'S NEWS appear stationary and then scrolls to the left) so maybe someone started it too slow and then sped it up too fast?
I admit it is weird - but so is life
