Nice set-up mate, the seat makes it feel more realistic, the steering wheel makes it feel more realistic, the flappy paddles make it feel more realistic and the helmet view makes it...oh wait

Please try the cockpit view, with that great set-up you're missing out on the immersion...but hey, you can play/drive however you want!

Damm thats one sweet setup you got there m8,looks bloody awesome.I have F1 2010 pc version but i,mm getting a ps3 slim for my son,hopefully this bank holiday,so i,mm very tempted to get this wheel and f1 2010 ps3,so i can play on the console when the kids kick me off the pc.btw when you got a moment check out a few old f1 vids i uploaded a while back.

@Raytorious I'm using Pinacle 12 software. It's ok and I'm no expert but it's quite intuative so not hard to use. F1 2010 is really good on PS3 - I'm much better than I was when I shot this video! I'd only had it a couple of days. You need to get GT5 - it's pretty dull for the first few weeks but when you unlock the good stuff it's untouchable - the graphics are stunning and some of the fast cars are amazing to drive - works brilliantly with the Logitech G27. Still waiting on My xbox 360 from UPS, have a 32" LCD and Madcatz wireless wheel waiting, along with F1 2010. Another couple of days and I should be having fun myself. I don't have the fancy seat, but my old drafting table and office chair should suffice. :)

@HALFSQUASHED - just tried and it looks like you can't. Automatically assigns the paddle shift - probably cos it's F1 2010 and not a retro game. Srtill great fun with the paddle shift.

I think you have just sold me the G27 over the Thrustmaster F430. Ive watched a lot of vids for this, pro reviews plus personal vids and i must say seeing it in action with F1 2010 (which is the game I play) is the best one i have seen. Sweet set up you have there too!

(ps, i think you can probably take turns 1 - 3 a little faster) ;)

@devilsixpence - cheers mate - glad you liked the set up. The G27 is a really nice set up - plays perfect and has a great feel. As for turns 2 and 3 (!) - I filmed this on the day I got the game and the seat so it was a bit new (excuses!!). The best I've done on Silverstone is a 1.27;120 in the Mclaren - I keep tweaking the set up. Take it easy. GT5 on order for delivery this week!

You have a nice setup going there I have about the same if you really want to get more out of your racing experianice then you should think about attaching a buttkicker or buttkicker mini on the side of the playseat to get the rumble of the car and track i love mine for F1 2010.Think about it.

Hi mate. Have read up about the Buttkicker and I'm not convinced it's going to improve things that much. Basically it's a low end bass enhancer that sits under your seat to make you "feel" the sound. I'm already sat only 2 feet away from a massive subwoofer and my chair already shakes with the bass. Thanks for letting me know anyway. Take it easy. Mike.

Nice setup. I recommend picking up a Buttkicker Gamer 2. It's a vibration unit you can attach to the chair that supplies force feedback. For the Playseat you'll have to customize a mounting post, but there are videos online explaining the rather simply process. Race one brotha! I'm playing F1 now too... waiting for GT5...
