  • CHRYSLER introduced it ! ! ! ! ! !

  • you forgot to mention that isn't just any 8 speed automatic. its a double wet clutching automatic with two input shafts and two rails of helical cut gears just like a manual transmission would have. with an electronic balance control. input shaft #2 is already engaged in the next gear before shaft #1 releases the current gear. the most advanced transmission currently available. and not to mention virtually ware free :-) i wish i could fit one into my camaro. :-(

  • driving lvl: asian

  • I gotta hunch that hes not actually in a real car, it looks like a simulator...

  • That would be so annoying to use the manual mode on!

  • only stupid people prefer manual transmission

  • @gatto7777777

Not really, Manual gives you more control of your car, easier to maintenance, better gas mileage, has more torque, and faster in most cases.

  • @iCHARRLZ look if last bmw series 3 and 5 are equipped with manual gear!!! it's old!!! it's the past not the future!!!

  • @gatto7777777 And everything that is old is not good? It's about taste and feeling. Cars are a lot about feelings, especially a BMW, and if you love the feeling of total control of the engine - then manual is still the most fun choice.

  • @robinjohanssonmdh suuurrrrreeeee :)

  • @gatto7777777 ?? All 3 and 5 series ever made has been available with manual gears, maybe that's just for europe, because as we all know most Americans can drive stick. And @iCHARRLZ is correct in everything he says. Even though BMW says their new 8 speed has been fuel economy than the manual. I doubt it, you have way more control with manual gears and it's easier to perform fuel-saving actions.

  • Hes short???

  • why in name of all that is holy does he sit so close to the wheel? That is neither ergonomic nor safe if you crash...

  • @bakaenkaaka cuz he asian!!

  • To have full control over the car, I have learned to sit the same way in sport driving school. To test your position: press your back in the seat (like at full acceleration) then lay your arm on the top of the steering wheel, now your wrist should be touching the wheel (not only your fingertips) google “racing seating position” for more

  • @bakaenkaaka My god, I had a friend that sat next to the wheel that close I swore he would one day break his rib cage on the steering wheel lol.

  • @bakaenkaaka he has to, coz he's short !
