My dad chose a 1.6 automatic with metallic brown paint and a brown vinyl roof (bleaurgh :-o~~ ) and my mum chose a black 1.1 manual. As I recall, the polo was very nippy around town.
I can't get enough of your footage, this is fantastic. I am a huge fan of MK1's. They were making some great noises too. Number 273 was awesome. I love what they did with that front mount. Thanks for more great footage!

You don't see too many of those on the road here in germany, so it's pretty awesome to see those race-cars keeping up the 70s spirit.
I'd really like to know some of the specs like bhp in those cars. They sound pretty cool and are really fast :)

@wordreet That's a 70's VW Polo. It'll have a 1.3 litre 4cyl that revs to 12,000rpm and produces approx. 170bhp!
