  • Sweet, I went there in a 152 on my first solo cross crountry a few months ago. Its a cool place. I like the skid marks you can see that go off the end off the runway.

  • hey steeleshark, so if the runwat is 2300ft. How much did you use for take off, about 1100ft?

  • What's the usefull load on a Mooney anyway? I'd be interested in trading up someday. Quick and look sweet. B1tch to work on though. Avionics tech, so... Laying upside down in them isn't fun.

  • LOL, I know what you mean. The useful load on that Mooneu when I had it was just over 1000 pounds.

  • Like the way the Mooney's gear tucks away fast!

  • Tucked in fast but put the gears up a bit too early. If the engines failed at that second, the plane goes down, big problems. I would've put them up on 00:25 seconds of that video.

  • A STOL MOONEY!

  • that was a quick takeoff.

  • I am jealouse at how close you get to be at the runway to shoot this video.

  • Their is no FBO or anything. Its just a runway with tiedowns at the end. Their is also no taxiway. Their is a road for cars beside the runway on the same side as the camera.
