  • As per my previous statment...SEALs are hard core, but I think a lot of time is spent trying to make a sailor into a soldier. I think the Navy would be better served if the made SEAL candidates go through marine basic or even Army basic...just my opinion.I support them, but I remember the teams that were ambushed(korengal) and the failed rescue(news woman) attempts.for awhile the ARMYs success overshadowed them. They needed the good press.

  • Green Berets and Navy SEALs have similar capability the difference mainly doctrine of parent organization. Both units do direct action, they use a lot of the same schools. My personally prefer to use the Green Berets. Who prefer soldiers be experienced before they join. For example a experienced infantryman who has quality skills, who becomes Airborne, who develops a true understanding full spectrum of combat, then becomes a Ranger, who can operate with minimal info. in a small team.

  • Music kinda reminds me of pokemon... Just sayin

  • music makes me think of an kind of vintage porn movie...

  • This man was working on the shop channel.

  • @GreenBeretHooah

Delta and DEVGRU are both counter terrorism units... Delta was on a mission to catch Bin Laden a couple years ago and weren't able to so it's not like only DEVGRU does that. But who cares haha they are both on our side

  • @william6198640

The Naval Special Warfare Development Group (SEAL Team 6) was the only special mission unit in country at the time and ready to take on the mission. It was a joint service attack though so there was most likely Delta and Air Force 24th Special Tactics Squadron members on the helicopters as well.

  • @GreenBeretHooah What do you mean berets did the copters?

  • HOOAH !

  • I have a question. Why did the Navy SEALS kill Bin Laden and not SF?

What are the major differences regarding training, missions, etc?

  • if i join the A-Team can i dress like mr.T?

  • special forces are the army counterpart of the seals !

seals are not the best !-green berets are as good to,and her training is with 3 years of experience longer than this, which the seals are made.

  • I like special forces myself and always wanted to join but the army fucked me over so I had to leave that shit..

  • Viva Russia? thats makes you a SUPER FAG. haha. My grandmother came here from St. P Russia because Russia is shit. You fucking idiot. I respect their civillians and country but honestly...."viva russia"....wow. Uneducated idiot. Go play your video games

  • VIVA RUSIAA

  • Oh yes, they do such a great job.

  • @psychosniper333 Being yelled at is better than being shot at...

  • Comment removed

  • @fiddlinboy true true ^^

  • @psychosniper333 Dude, you suppostly want to be a green beret? In any MOS you will be yelled and as a soldier you will keep quiet and disciplint, but in Special Forces you get more yelled than other MOS. I mean, get yelled it is part of the beggining a soldier.

  • @psychosniper333 then you wont make it even in the regular military. yelling is supposed to induce stress. combat is somewhat stressful, i think i may have heard that somewhere

  • @marleynrs8 too late for your comment

  • @psychosniper333 its alright dude, i was a bit of a douchebag. but seriously, understand that you will definitely get yelled at, but there are far worse things in life. did your parents never yell at you? mine did/do all the time.

  • @marleynrs8 its ok dude i am already in the hardest jrotc on the west coast so it doesnt really matter if i get yelled at or not because i just suck it up

  • What does GT mean?

  • Listen to me everybody I just got back from selection in the class in May. These are the following requirements. GT 107 or higher. If you want the medical surgeon like me, I suggest you try and get a 115 or higher. Pass an Army Physical Fitness Test with 240 or higher in your age category. An army physical they check everything from your blood to x-rays. The TABE-A test. The DLAB test which tests your ability to learn a language. I'm 5'3 and I got selected so can you, so never quit!

  • gt score 100?when was this made 2001?

  • @CaliYoungGun1991 Maybe earlier. GT is now 110, but it's quite unlikely this one point will be the only thing disqualifying a potential candidate...

  • It's 107

  • SAS

  • woo hoo drumnbass i like it

  • @ScopedOUT2 it depends on what you are talking about. SEALs are focus and train much more on amphibious operations. They are good at conducting raids from water and slipping away. Green Berets or SF on the other hand spend all of their time behind enemy lines, disrupting their movements and training locals to fight against the enemy. Both SEALs and SF are trained in the same stuff and both can carry out both types of operations yet they have their own specialties. You cant really compare them.

  • @ScopedOUT2 your wrong, the green berets are better skilled!

  • @ScopedOUT2, Apples to Oranges. SEALs focus more on SCUBA, Special Forces receive language training and have more focus on building rapport with locals in other cultures. All are highly-trained and dedicated individuals.

  • It all depends. Green Berets specialize in unconventional warfare. Seals rely more on Direct Action. It all depends.

  • @ScopedOUT2 Read "Chosen Soldier". The book is about all of the steps it takes to become a US Army Special Forces soldier and the book was written by a former Navy Seal. Seals and SF soldiers are similar but have somewhat different capabilities. Dick Couch gives his reason for all of what he says.

  • @ScopedOUT2 To some degree you are correct; However the missions are different, and cannot be compared fairly. The US Army Special Forces mission is much wider in scope and includes language skills. I am a fan of the US Navy Seals, and respect them mightly. CSM(ret) US Army Special Forces

  • @ScopedOUT2 Who cares! Their both high skilled warriors fighting for your freedom.

  • @ScopedOUT2 0_0 damn you're dumb.

  • @ScopedOUT2 12 green berets can create a 1000 man army. or a 1000 man guerilla army. if you're an anti american dictator you will fear the green berets the most. because they can come at you with a 150,000 man army. the navy seals are bad ass too. they killed bin ladin.

  • As the world changes, mostly for the worse, the Special Operations Command is looking for men with the backbone, values, and morals of the past. Most Americans are too soft and have no interest in the grueling training and constant comitment needed in the SF community. Maybe the old video and narrative are designed to appeal and motivate that rare tropper who has the intelligence and physical metal to join our family. 31yr US Army, 19D, 31G, 18E, 18Z

  • these are some tough motherfuckers

  • LOL Still? i was and am one of these men!

  • Thanks for your service man

  • I love how all spec ops have up to date recruting video's and SF is still using the same old video that looks and sounds 20 years old lol They need to up date it

  • @ragenhurt

Probably because the people who want to do this already know about who they are

  • This is hilarious. Obviously made by someone who's never been down range. Probably made in the 80's... and still being used. Classic military "Fund-Saving" Style. Bahahaha!!!

  • hahahahhahaah.... if ur a SF operator... this shit is beyond funny....

  • What do you mean, why is it funny?

  • I wonder if they play this at Bennin for the recruits..... hahahaha and r u kidding me?

listen to this crap "Truly WARrriors" ....lolllll when was this made??.. is not bad for advertising... but it makes me laugh

  • THE A-TEAM!!! these guys are hardcore.

  • dem this shit is hard
