I like the idea - you didn't see any xlrs plugged into the camera filming . . . but I did see a cooler on set - maybe one of the cameras overheated - darn those 12 minute files overheating the camera! LOL

My students inspired me to use the video capabilities of my 5D. I bought it to better shoot weddings in low light. But my students asked to use it for video and suddenly I was seeing rich, stunning film-like imagery. The kids are excited, I'm excited and the video side of my class has been revitalized. Yes, we'll purchase a class 5D or 7D.

This is a cool project and how great is it that Ron Howard is involved? Wow! Thanks Canon & thanks Ron. I've alerted my students via their class FB page.
