To all of you haters - this was a little vent we were having for fun with a friend who had a video camera.
Disneyland closed the park for a Google private party. No, we did not look up online as it was our annual event, we know the regular hours and we did not fly, - you'd be pissed off too if your day was spoiled because of a Corporation taking over the park for a private party.. We were just turned away from the rides . The PR rep was rude, in the old days they would have comped us tickets

Oh, wait, that already exists. And I did some research. On Feb 5 2008, Disneyland was open from 9am-7pm, instead of the other weekdays when it was open from 10am-8pm. Same amount of hours. And if you arrived late, than it only closed 1 hour earlier than normal.

If the park was closing early, it would have been planned far in advance and signs would have been posted that are very easy to see. My mother and I both have a large amount of experience with theme parks, including Disney.
Um, not to be rude but the park hours are always listed at the parking structure so they probably did warn you. Also 3 hours? That's not that much. And you're argument is that Disney hates kids because they didn't warn you about a subtraction of three hours from the day at the park. I think they did give a warning but even if they didn't, they closed the park to everyone. Not just kids. Also if you rented out the park for the last three hours, would you want anyone else in it? No.

Now we tax payers get to pay for a rapid train to go to Orlando - what else is in Orlando but Disneyworld - they should pay for the freaking train!

If the park was closing early, it would have been planned far in advance and signs would have been posted that are very easy to see. My mother and I both have a large amount of experience with theme parks, including Disney.
