Coldland is a parody of an advertisement for cheap-o wholesale foods peddler and retail-beast Iceland, whose adverts are usually in the fashion of a dinner party; with complimentary overtly happy people who just lead such boring lives that all they have to do is drone on about what the food on offer is. A bit harsh but what the hey.
